A recent thread in the combat medic forum brought up the comparison between spider venom (increases the strength of poisons and diseases) and Janta blood (increases the strength of all medicines). I was wondering if anybody knew the commonality of Janta blood.

I know it is hard to give an accurate measure (I know I couldn't in regards to spider venom). However, as a rough guess, imagine you are in a small but fairly active guild, and your guild is actively searching for some Janta's blood to make some buff packs (or cure poison packs as the case may be). Would it be "very hard" to get access to some, "hard", or would it just take a little time, dedicated effort,and patience? Does anybody have any rough guesses about how many might appear in a server on an average day (keeping in mind again that this is more impression than hard facts)?

Well it takes 18 jars of blood to make a complete set of buffs (3 jars per stat). So if a doctor in your guild needs it and you take over 5 people, you can probably get 18 jars in 2 days of each person running a good amountof missions. Plus you will all make good money since the high level janta missions dish out 30k+

A group of us in my guild have gone out 4 times to Dantooine in the last week, and have come up with 6 jars of Janta blood.

Note: Mack (sp?) Shaman are *not* Janta's, and do not cough up the right kind of blood. :->

First off, it takes 16 jars for a full set.

Second off, I get enough a week betweein hunting/buying to make a set.

In a lil over two months of actively hunting/buying I have over 125 vials of janta blood of varying power.

its not hard to get but you do need to spend alot of time hunting them and also make sure the mission level is high 80+ i try and only get missions that are at a level of 99 or higher.

i dont hunt for it everyday but i would say in a total of about 2 months i havegot 49 jars of janta blood of verious strenght, i usually get a mind buff and buff my self then hunt them for the duration of the buffs (2h 38mins) some hunting sessions i get none but then the next hunt i can get anything from 1 drop of 2 jars to 2 drops and get a total of 10 jars in 1 hunting session

lest amount ever droped is 2 jars of blood and the most iv got is 7 jars in 1 drop.

as i said earlier tho if the mission level is less then 80 then dont waist your time hunting them, well i dont as iv never had any drop from low level missions

All Janta's drop janta blood, but Mokk Shaman don't.
