hey guys i'm a new doc on gorath server. I really want to be able to craft my own packs that hit like 890 power and last for 3 hours 30 mins. WHat stuff do i need to be able to craft my own packs and how easy is it to do. i need someone to run me through this and tell me some vendors of where i can get the resources and stuff i need to buy to make this possible. i want to be able to craft just for myself not looking to sell just for personal use. also i was wondering if it will save me money by crafting my own over buying them made already? plz leave me some info and help me out. much thnx KARBON || master doc/ master TK ||

1: The biggest problem to making your own buff packs is getting the required avian meat. If you do not have access to scouts/ranger to get this stuff, you could be paying quite a bit for this resource alone. Upwards of 20 to 50 credits per unit infact, depending on the quality of the meat. Especially if the good stuff is falling on planets like Rori, where you can not find a high ham creature to drop it in good quantities.

2: To get the better buffs, concetrate on resources with high overall quality and decay resistance. decay resist determines how long your buff will last.

3: Spend extra money on a droid with a 110 mod for medical, you will not go wrong. Get a set of clothes with the max wound treatment, which is +25, spendy also, but worth it. There is a food also that can add up to another +25 wound treatment. The food and the clothes work together, so having both is not bad.

Hello.

First off, you will most likely save some money by crafting instead of purchasing, as Doctors who sell buffpacks sell them with profit.

Also, I'm not sure this will help you as it is not a walkthrough for the Gorath server, but if you're interested, ive made a short guide for crafting your own buffpacks which you may find here:

You ask very good questions.

Since your a new doc I would, for the most part, give up on trying to hit 900ish on the buff pack crafting them yourself. Why? Simply put you will never find all the right resouces. You can spend hours and hours going to all the vendors and will not find everything.

However, you can find enough of the right stuff to make a 700ish pack. Then add some bivoli and you will be hitting with a buff that will allow you to do anything that a 900 pack would let you do. As a doc you will never (almost) die from health and Action attacks. As a result, having a 2.4k buff does you little good. You will die by the mind long before you health and action give out. You just as well served by having a 2k or so buff.

Thats just my advice. Shoot for a 700ish pack.

Nice to hear from another Gorathian doctor. Like what Marraow1 has said, crafting your own buff packs can save you lots of creds. I was buying from others and spent some 120-180k for like 21-28 applications. Now I craft my own packs and with 771 power they last for 2.5hrs and has 23 applications. I managed 2100-2200 so its rather manageable. I buff my guildies for free and they are harvesting avian meat for me. You do need an arrangement for meat gathering cause as a MD/TKM, u have only 18pts left.

18 points for Novice scout and Hunting1, add trandoshan bonus' and the new harvester droids and docs can now be self sufficient. Once meats have been gathered back to novice artisian for the surveying skills
