Thread: how mush are buffs?
- Depends on the power, charges and duration of the packs/buffs.
- They cost a lot of time and effort if you are starting from nothing.
My buffs hit for +2323 at full strength [BE clothing, 25% Bivoli], and last for 3:14... I sell them for 12k on Shadowfire, and this seems to be an average-to-slightly below average price. I've seen some selling the same for 15k and getting customers pretty easily still, but I fell better at just 12k.
940 power/32 charge/11420 duration
861 Power/32 charge/11420 duration
It costs me 8k per 940 pack, thats raw resource not including my time. It costs about 3.5k to make the 860 packs. I sell the packs at 19k for the 940's and 10k for the 861's.
To amass the ingredients has taken a good 4 months and about 25m credits. Its not easy, I dare say its not rewarding but selling very good buff packs pays well.

I buff about 2k or so for 3 hours without bivoli. I only really use it when I think Imight ,or my guildmates, might take a beating. I only commercialy buff when I need the cash and most of the time I just buff my guildmates, I like a quiet life and mostly leave the MD sign off
I charge the following rates:
10k if someone sends me tell in starport
6-8k if they send me a tell asking really nicely
Free or ask for a k or 2 for expenses if i'm buffing rebs in a faction battle
Basically charge what you like but dont expect to get rich unless you're ruthless and organised. Casual crafters will make very little as the cost of buffpacks will be high so get those factories up and churning out abecs etc rapido
