I've been reading all the threads on here because I'm trying to learn all I can before I actually reach master doc. I finally became a master medic last night. I was sorry to read all the threads with bad feelings about public buffing and what you all have to go through.

I only started playing the game about 2 weeks ago and a doc saw me noobing around and gave me a free set of buffs. (Thanks Bananaman!) This really got me going and allowed me to do and see things I couldn't have without the buffs and got me excited about the game. Since then I have always paid more than asked for buffs when I'm able. Sometimes I even pay twice the requested amount because I really appreciate the service the doctor is providing. I mean... sitting in cnet buffing strangers is not the most entertaining use of in-game time I can imagine.

I am looking forward to gaining my master tag... whether or not I will buff strangers is a decision I haven't made yet. The main point of my post is to just a general "Thank You!" to the docs who take the time to provide this service. I wanted you to know that there are people out there who really appreciate what you add to the game and realize that being buffed is not a right but a privilege.

Stay strong docs!

Good stuff

Unfortunately it's really not the majority that isn't thankful, it's the kids that think their $15/month is more important than mine that ruin it. I buffed in starports when I first got going and I met plenty of people and it wasn't really that bad. Some days though you just get bombarded with tells and people are jerks and you find yourself on the boards venting.

Good luck with doctor. It's refreshing to find someone who's researched and is ready for the profession.

Ya man nice to hear that someone actually appreciates doctors, lol jk. It is the people like you that make the 3 hrs of sitting in Coronet trying to get people to understand that you closed your line 4 hrs ago and that you dont owe them anything, that really gets frustrating. I still enjoy buffing people, but every now and then you run into that one 5 yr old that just ruins everything. Hope you enjoy your journy as a Doc and also hope to see you around the boards.
