Thread: surgical Droid Malfuction

Anyone know what would make a surgical droid stop working? I was in the middle of a healing sesion when the message 'you need to be near a Surgical droid or campsite to do that' the droid was right there!! Any ideas??? or is it a bug in my character someplace?

I had this same exact problem just the other night and it was making me crazy. After speaking to a helpful master doc in the starport, I found that my droids batteries did indeed need charging, even though he said that he was at 75% power.
Go figure.
Go figure.

Thanks, that must be it then. The batteries are at 75% so I guess I just need a charge...

I've heard of this happening a couple of times since a recent hotfix... please submit a bug and describe the circumstances. Storing/re-calling the droid can often solve this problem, but also if re-charging the droid works then I'd keep doing that in the short-term until they've fixed the bug

I've also been recharging my Droid when it gets to 75% because it stops working. My question is: Does recharging that 25% to make your droid work use a whole battery/charge? I haven't noticed yet and i'm really knew to droids so I was just curious if I'm wasting a whole battery everytime I choose "Recharge".

Well, until it's fixed, yes you are wasting a whole battery... but it's just a temporary bug, be sure to report it!
