Thread: Are you still waiting for tips to make credits? Tsk tsk, here's the real way

Enhancements. Nobody knows about them and it's so great! People pay me 1500 credits for the 6 enhancements (300 for one charge), that's far better then what you can expect from someone who was too poor to pay for cloning don't you think? The only problem right now is that I have to make a lot of publicity because nobody knows about doctors buffs. Some people even thought I was lying! Anyway,I'm starting to have a reputation in Coronet (kettemoor). I just stay near the starport (crafting) and apply enhancements when I have a client. Go ahead, make some publicity!

I got just over 10000 seconds with my last run of buff packs (D packs). Thats **edit** near 3 hours.

With good components and resources you can get them up to around 13k seconds...

They last the duration or untill you die, incap dosen't remove them btw

I make a good 5k for a full buff cycle anytime I want. I even went as high as 10k for a full buff and people still payed it. You just have to go to the advanced planets like lok.

can also make good money selling stims too...but sigh..factories are freaking broken right now and on starsider I can't yet make advanced parts cause the special ingredients needed for them suck so bad this resource shift..Lok wheat on starsider was at like 90 overall quality...... but the things like tubers on naboo were OQ of about 950 and the potential energy was 998.... can't use tubers for advanced parts but they make **edit** good regular parts.

Are you sure incap doesn't remove them? I had a person incap and the buff was gone and we hadn't been adventuring very long. This was recently.

Don't mean to mess up anyone so if I am hurting the profession in any way please let me know why and I will stop but..........

What I do now is when someone gives me a tip I give them enhancements. I never ask for a tip nor do I really care if anyone tips me anymore (I do like to be said Hi to and thank you though) but if they do make the special effort to do so then I treat the special with the enhancement buffs.

To me it's a way of saying thank you for all the one's that have always tiped.

Please be sure to ask before you drop an enhancement, though. There's nothing worse than to be about to head out on a mission, walk into a Med Center (and happily tipping for any healing) and then having someone Buff you with a B pack. The problem is not that you got buffed. The problem is that for me, or for someone with a Doc friend, may have better buffs available to them. If you buff them they are stuck with your buff until it wears off. It can be a real pain for me to be stuck with a B buff for 20 mins (or worse, a C buff for an hour or 2) that I just have to wait out before I can use my one D buffs for 3 hours.

Now if you are a Master oc and you are tossig around fully experimented D packs, then even if your buff was worse than mine, I think I would mind to much.I expect the difference would be fairly negligeable.

The schematics show up as Enhance [stat]. You'll need your first level of Doc Crafting to get Enhance Health and Enhance Action A packs, but you will also need Wound Treatment at level 2 to use them.

What an Enhance (often referred to as a buff) does is to increase your stats for some given period of time. Like if you eat some foods that might give you a +25 Action for 10 minutes, or whatever. Master Doc level Enhance Ds can get as good at enhancing your Health, Stamina, Strength, Action, Constitution or Quickness by as much as 3000 points (on a lucky use) for over 3 hours. We have no buffs as Doctors for Mind-related stats.
