try using the /moave command on one of the crates. Do /move back 5 or soemthing close to that and they should separate so you can pick them up. If worst comes to worst you can always redeed your house to delete them. Although that may not be very pratical for you.

Never, EVER, drop crates on top of each other. It gives you that error and the only way to fix it is to /move the crates around.

As for the vanishing items in the backpack...had that happen. Even WATCHED as my items dissappeared out of the backpack(it was located in my house at the time, not equipped on my toon). They came back the next day though...

Same experience as Texxie. Watched stuff dissapear form backpacks, but by the next day it was all good. I about had a heart-attack, though, considering that those packs had a TON of crates of advanced components.

As a style move, I suggest you use the following command to collect your crates (ideally in front of an audience):

/move furniture forward 5;/emote moves the crate using the force

Before I started using backpacks to hold all my crates I would make a stack of each kind against the wall. One crate of each I would /move forward 5 so that I could use it. When that crate was empty, I would /move forward 5 the next crate.

Change that to /move back 5 so that it came towards me

I have had trouble with backpacks I knew were full showing as empty.

I found that if you picked them up, and opened them while they were in your inventory they became miraculously full again. (queue tilight zone music)

Fun with disappearing items. Logged out the other day wearing pants and a shirt...logged in the next day and was naked! Got another pair of pants and shirt (thank goodness I have other clothes), played all evening then logged out. Came in yesterday and was wearing the original pair of pants and the second shirt.

NOTE: the original shirt and the second pair of pants are now/still missing

Should be exciting to see what I am wearing today when I log in..hehe

Someday I'll find that peer and reset his connection!
