it would be nice if there was a first level buff for mind stats seeing how there is no way to heal mind. at least the stimpack A buffs would add a little more mind and make it regen a little faster

These enhancement packs have been suggested as an addition to Entertainers.

This fits with the philosophy that Medics/Doctors heal the Health and Action stats, while Entertainers heal the Mind stats.

I don't like it really... Mind is our only limiting factory. If we buff that up to 2000+, we'll be invincible in PvP.

"I don't like it really... Mind is our only limiting factory. If we buff that up to 2000+, we'll be invincible in PvP. "

- A man after my own mind (in a manner of speaking)

- I've been trying to explain that to the people in the "Entertainingand noney" thread that Holocron posted over in the Discussionforum.

- Unlike other games, where our Hitpoints increase, in this game that is not the case. So what is the limiting factor during combat? The Mind pool of course.

- This fact was obviously written in stone when they first designed the game, and hopefully they will never change it.

- My suggestion was the Entertainer buffs simply be the DURATION of Doctor enhancement, but they don't need to be as huge a value. Hopefully that will satisfy everyone, and differentiate them from the Food and Spice buffs that already exist.

Actually, i've heard Musicians and Dancers can already buff. It apparently only works with Masters, and you must listen or watch them for a period of about 10 to 15 minutes and use the radial to both initiate and terminate the session.

Yes I am aware of the ability of Musicians to buff (I even tested it today using a Musician friend of mine).

My point is that the buff requires you to listen in camp for a MINIMUM of 5 minutes for a buff that only lasts 15 minutes.

That's why I'm pushing the LONG duration buffs.

The buff that Musicians currently perform has no more benefit than Food or Spice (and most spice is actually better). It is only useful if the entertainer is out in the field sitting in camp and the group members run back and get buffed every 15.

"That's why i'm a field doctor/musician."

- Yes indeed, the best of both worlds.

- My Musician friend is the same. He's a Master Doc/Master Musician. He doesn't even have any combat skills himself. Relegates himself to a full support role and loves every minute of it.

Probably the best choice, better population in the support profession forums.

A lot of people can't seem to handle the limitations of melee combat. I have trouble even reading the TKA boards because of the gripe posts from people who have already quit the game and just want to complain.

I guess that happens in most of the combat boards. Its more about the mentality of people drawn to the combat profession as compared to the support professions, I guess.
