Is revive used when a player is just incapacitated so they can get up faster? Or is it for when a character dies so they don't have to go back to the cloning center? I can't really figure this one out and I'm at an absolute loss.

Its for when they are dead but cant be used if they have already chosen a cloning location. It basically when their name is corpse of somedeadguy.

By the way, res effects are bugged. They are supposed to fade after a minute but theynever go away. This means the person's stats will be really low indefinitely. A workaround to this is to pop a camp and buff em. I've found Enhance Constitution and Enhance Stamina to be the most reliable.

Yep, travel biscuits that any novice artisan can make works fine to restore lost stats due to the stat bug.
