Thread: This is WHY i pay 1000-3000 per stim
Ok i made a post about how i was mad that we cant heal pets anymore for xp. I got a couple flamers on that post so this is in response to them.. they are obviously newbs

TO the first poster, I pay 1000 - 3000 per stim cause I dont use the crappy stims you do... The stims I purchase are Stim-D with 808 heal... This allows me to heal for up to and over 2k per use... This conserves mind and that is very important in combat (since you obviously dont understand this concept). They are well worth the price.
And to SlimJim, **edit** are you doin buying Stim B as a doctor? I certainly wouldnt pay 1000 - 3000 for a freakin Stim-B what are you smokin? If you havent noticed the more you heal per time, the less mind you use and the more xp you gain with less money wasted per heal. In other words, Efficiency is KING for a doctor.
I am not Master yet and it will take a while for me to get there now, while these flamers got there by healing pets and they now say "im glad they fixed it" whereas they really mean "I got leveled up fast and I am glad that it will take everyone else a long time to get to 'my level' "

Whoa, Vorrik, I think you are little off-base here, especially calling SlimJim's response a Flame. Nowhere in what you posted he said does he say HE uses Stim Bs. And nowhere in your original post did you say you were using Stim Ds. Since we are used to seeing on this forum, and anyone not a newbie is used to seeing this, when most folks talks Stims, they mean Stim Bs unless otherwise specified, and 1k for a GOOD quality Stim B is about te going rate.
I don't think you would have had nearly as much of a problem with either of these responses if you would just realize that you did not clarify that you were using Stim Ds. So they made a rather non-newbie assumption you were talking about Stim Bs.
I commonly sell Stim-Bs for 1000. I make very high quality stims which people who don't want to spend points in Pharmacology can use. Since they are making 16K off a single mission, they don't mind paying 1K for a Stim that will keep them alive through 3-4 missions...

Newb? lol. As a master doc/pistoleer, you're calling me that?
Anyway...my point was that you weren't crafting the stims yourself, and hence the cost wasn't resource based. And I SELL crates of stim-b's as a doctor. And yes, I've seen really good stim b's sell for 2000 per. I guess some of those CH's out there are willing to pay a lot.
Don't understand the conecpt of combat? I use stim E's on myself, with buffs. I don't hide behind any pet meat shield, either. So I think I've seen my share of combat, at over 400000 combat xp (200000 above and beyond master pistoleer).
Think before you speak next time, and don't read in things that aren't there...

Anyway, just the fact that I pay alot for them and now im wasting alot in combat to keep pets alive is the purpose of my original posting.

You can get 13k soloing seething bols on dantooine. I can do that myself, with buffs. Pretty good for a newb with no combat skills, huh?

Maybe you are wanting to read far more tone into his posts than you probably should. Step back and read them as unemotional statements. As if a computer were saying them. Then analyze them in that light. I bet it'll work out a lot better for you.
Oh, and why bother starting a second thread for this? You already had one on the topic, was this really necessary? Just trying to understand the logic, there.
