This stuff sells like hotcakes. Im having more fun selling it than using it for advanced components. The current OC stinks but I can still sell it for 6cr a unit. How is everyone else doing? This is on the starsider server.

Thanks

That is more because people are not farming it because it sucks so bad there there is a shortage on the market as opposed to last shift when I saw around 50 small harvestor's on a spot just out of town.

My team (Valcyn server) just set up a harvester for that stuff last night. It is only on a 29% concentration, but that was safer than 2 Doctors and 1 Medic roaming around the countryside. I will look to see what we can sell it for.

So far on Lowca (when it's up but that is another thread) I've never really had a problem getting Lokian wheat. Even with the deadly ring of unfinished missions around Nym's stronghold, but moving slowly and carefully I can usually get to my harvestors. So far, I've been trading on a 1 to 1 ratio with a neighbor doctor who has Tat fiberplast (I know I'm getting a bit of the short side of the stick but I have no chemical harvestors there yet). For me the hardest thing to get are the Dantooine berries. Those monitor lizard like things like to chew on me alot. I guess I'm a tasty morsel. Not to mention right now the Dantooine berries have a poor OQ.

Guess I'll have to get a team to go to Dantooine then. I'm assuming the Talusian Water Vapor is on Talus, so that shouldn't be a problem.

the wheat on starsider is a bit crappy right now but it doesn't stop it from being a hot commodity..good news is there is a great spot not far from Nym's. stilla bit dangerous though. I got incapped about 3 times and dbed once before I got to my harvester today but on 80 percent concentration I'm going to hoarde it until I can't hoarde it no more. I can easily sell what I don't use.

I was wondering why I saw no harvesters on Loki. So I gather you can setup a harvester there. So far I've done it by hand and I must agree that it is rather dangerous.

LOL For doctors, I don't think "rather dangerous" really covers it. ha ha

Lok and Dantooine aren't too bad as long as you are willing to sometimes go the long route. Lok may be the worse of the two if you aren't looking to fight anything a there are some nasty NPCs who will start shooting you right at 64m. I you're harvesting on your own, I would uggest hooking up with another doctor and each go after complementary resources (i.e. you harvest Dantooine Berries while they get Talusian water). It's much more time efficient if you don't have to check more than a couple planets a day.

One of the weird things about Lok and Dantooine, at least on Flurry, is that outside of the mission spawn range (like 500-1500m) the spawns seem to thin out to next to nothing. On Lok about 2000m outside town is a valley of 90% Wild Wheat and tons of harvesters and not a MOB in sight. If you can survive the initial run weaving through the red dots, hehe, it's not bad once you get far out if you want to place harvesters or manually sample. Same thing on Dantooine, I've run for 500m without seeing a single MOB. I think the devs probably will (should) fix this, but for the time being... =)

Junko,

My best guess on that is simply they are saving CPU power by not generating mobs in places where there isn't usually people. I have noticed in some places that if you stood around for a while in one spot then moved and then stood around mobs would spawn... Almost like giving the system time to generate content for you. I remember a couple of beta cycles where this was much easier to see then it is now.

You could run then for miles... Heck once I ran from Lok outpost to the volcano and only would find mobs when I stopped for a sec adn then I would move on and no more would show up until I stopped again.

Corner cutting really IMHO... there are a lot of zones in this game much like EQ has but they try to make them invisible and for the most part they are unless you are looking for them.

Well, I was able to set up a flora harvester on Dantooine with very little difficulty, at least on this trip. The trip to Talus was actually a little more active. Right outside of town, all of these aggro "punks" just popping up out of nowhere. Not really a big deal, just shot 'em down. Set up the Talusian water gatherer without incident after that, although it was a lot farther from town then my flora was on Dantooine.

Thanks for everyone's input on this.
