Thread: Adv. Parts....which ones really matter?
I have done a lot of tinkering ... and I have seen that Adv. Bio Controllers make a big differnece and so do Liquid suspension...
I see VERY little improvement with Chemical Dispersal... I know thats the lowest quality of my adv. resouces but still.
Also I dont have the iron for Solid Delivery shells.
Whats your experinces? Which ones do you really think gives you the most bang for your buck?
I can not commit on the Solid Delivery since I have never found the iron but on the chemical dispersal I can. This one dose not make a mass difference but I do notice that I have a better over all power if I use the advance one over the normal one.
Elrod Medpack
The only one I don't have so far is the Adv Chem Release Mechanism. All the others are very worthwhile.
* Adv Solid Delivery Shell has a big impact on the base heal of your medpacks.
* Adv Liquid Suspension has a big impact on the base heal of your stimpacks.
* Adv Biological Effect Controller has a big impact on the number of charges on each pack.
If you happen toplay on Kettemoor, you can find Dolovite on Dantooine at the moment.
Don't bring a medic to a pet fight
Personally, I've never made an Adv solid shell because it is mostly used for woundpacks. Being that Woundpacks are a "downtime" kind of activity, I've never concerned myself with uber-boosting them.
However, I slapped my forehead the other day when I woke up to the fact that solid shells are used in enhance packs. Now these I would love to be even more effective (as well as my guildies) so I'll be looking for the oats and iron on Lowca soon.
your biggest bang for buck. It will add (good one) 150+ to your stim
vs about 50 for a best regular one (and they are also cheap and easy
to make taking 6 dant berries and 6 talus water). After that
for stims I would go for Advanced Bio-effect Controllers. They
will add about +10 power +10 charges to your stims (vs regular one) but at steeper cost of 18 lokian wild wheet and 18 tatoine fiber. Advanced chemical release duration will add about 50 more (then regular one) to your stims but it requires herbivore meat (pain in the !%@$%# to get large qunantity) and class4 liquid petro which is rare spawning so also hard to get. I would forget ACRDM and just use ALS and ABEC for stims.
Now for woundpacks its a little different. ABEC is same about +18 power +18 charges (vs about +8 +8 on regular one) the advanced CRDM is actually
worth it here since woundpack-Bs are much lower base. Advanced solid delivery mechanism is definitely worthwile as it has same state as ACRDM (or about+70 for advanced vs +20 regular). ASDS is pretty easy to make requiring domestiated oats (every planet has em) and rare spawning dolovite iron. If you use all 3 on woundpack Bs you can make 200+ power woundpack-Bs that a novice medic can use. Very nice.
In general as you go to higher and higher stims (-C -D -E) the advanced components become less and less worthwile since they add flat # not a percentage so ALS will add 150 to -E (out of 1000 or so) and it will add 150 to -B (out of 250 or so).

Sitting on 27k of Dolv. Iron right now. It's spawned twice on Naritus. ![]()
Advanced solids do make a BIG difference in wounds and enhancers.
Fully experimented B, where I just focus on charges I can make 37/120s. If I focus on power I could get 200ish easy.
Experimented Enhance D will do me usually 19/693, could do better with better Avian meat.
Now if I can just get a supply of Class 4 liquid petro.. ![]()
I've found them all worth while to be honest. But if you have to pick one or two to concentrate on, I would say advanced BECs and advanced liquid suspensions. You'll get extra charges and extra power from those two. And they also seem to be the ones that have the easiest resources to find. Granted, they aren't always the highest quality resources, but still I have yet to see Talus, Tatooine, Lok or Dantooine without their particular required resource.
