I attempted the corvette again last night, and I've got a few comments about the 'healer' profession I want to make and have you all respond to...
I'm a Master Doc/Master CM, and I have to say the corvette is the most frustrating quest/dungeon I've done yet. Granted, I was the only one healing our group, which depleted my 2800 buffed mind pretty quickly, but my issues are these:

I'm a Master Doc/Master CM, and I have to say the corvette is the most frustrating quest/dungeon I've done yet. Granted, I was the only one healing our group, which depleted my 2800 buffed mind pretty quickly, but my issues are these:
1) If they are going to clone you inside the corvette when you die, why can't you heal wounds or buff inside? You've only got an hour in there, it's not like letting you buff again would be an unfair advantage. Basically, when you die, that's it, find the exit. Yes, it makes a team work together, blah blah blah, but when part of the team doesn't know to push the elevator button, or gets turned around or lagged (which happens, even to the most experienced among us), there's no way for a group to recover once its members start dying off. And yes, I had a medical droid with me.
2) As a doc/cm, I don't have many skill points to spare, and I don't have a weapon skill, apart from the required novice marksman for cm, so I DO NOT WANT to enter combat!! I'm sick of trying to punch super battle droids into submission! I don't do any damage, and all it does is screw up my animation, make it tougher to move around, and make it impossible to take stims and kits out of crates when I need to! I knew better this time (since I learned the lesson last time I tried) and had 10 stims in my pack, but if it had gone much longer, I would have needed more.
3) I've gotten 'stuck in combat' too many times on that mission. Even after death, once you are stuck in combat you're essentially screwed. I've heard that complaint more than once, so I don't think it's just me.
I don't want to sound like I'm complaining (I know it does), but I made a conscious effort to pick these professions so I could support and heal a group for any possible medical necessity in the field. Most of you are already aware of this, but guess how much combat experience I get for keeping a group alive? None. Guess how much faction xp I get? None. If I needed any medical xp, it'd be great, but there aren't any medical professions left for me to train. The bunker isn't like that, and I'm hoping this isn't a trend to start making dungeons medical un-friendly.
Thanks for listening...

Songe ... she is a MCM and a MD. And I also think buffing should be allowed on Corvette. You are on the ship ... so why the hell not rebuff? Rebuffing is a tactic.

I share your frustration 100%. As an MD with only novice Pistoleer, once everyone starts dying, I'm pretty much dead weight, and with buffs gone, it's one-shot-drop city from there on in.
How we managed to complete the destroy mission is a complete mystery to me. I think it involved frantic running around, and me on my back most of the time.
How one loots a powerplant is even more of a mystery.

I was stuck in combat with a mob a floor below me on the vette. That was annoying, no way to peace. Good thing I unpacked a whole crate of stims before hand.
Now for a different POV...
I don't think there should be rebuffing. It's a waste IMO, I would like to see wounds tendable however so since the two go hand in hand...
Space is limited in the groups, 1 SBD is a pain for most groups, 2 will do most in...buffed or not(in my experience anyway).
Last group I was in had 2 docs, 1 deciated to 2 brawlers that tanked and the other manged teh rest. We made it just as far unbuffed as the ime before buffed, albiet that time was a doc and a medic.

I am sorry, but if you could buff in there it would be WAY too easy. With a strong group that one hour time limit is more than enough to complete the missions successfully. Our best time for the assasination mission was 40 minutes.
I bring my doc/CM up there and keep everyone alive so sometimes I have as much as half the group that does not lose their buffs.
