I did some quick tests making some area C's and one of my friends on Test Center got similar results last night when using Rancor Biles.

In both cases we were able to make area C's with over 200ish power and around 100 charges. But, the range was limited(around 8 to 10 meters) compared to what you could get with good dispersal mechanisms.

Much as it is for CMs, Rancor Biles give you insane numbers of charges, but at a cost. In this case, it is a cost of a little bit of power and a lot of range. They certainly should have a use though with *that* many charges on them.

In all honesty, I see ones made with Rancor Biles and ones made with dispersal mechanisms having equal value depending on the situation. The ones made with Rancor Bile will probably be much more attractive to doctors who want to use them in PvE situations and general use in PvP as they will last near forever, with the ones made with Dispersal Mechanisms being of greater value in specific PvP encounters.

Good find...as a doc, I find stuff with high charges to be immensely effective. Btw, has anyone tested both rancor bile and janta blood combined? Maybe if you experimented to around 200 power and put the rest on range, it would help the situation a little.

I foresee a problem that is even more unbalancing there as Janta Blood and Rancor Bile are supposed to substitute the component that determines charges.

That I havn't tried. Janta blood isn't as easy to come by on Test Center with our lower population. Since we can all have 3 alts, generally the only time you get it is when you go get it yourself or have a good friend give you some when they don't need it. I just don't have any myself to see what could happen.

That said, I agree, if you use both janta blood and rancor bile, you might be able to make something pretty crazy O.o

But, then again, considering that you need identical components, and these are loot components, I don't know how many doctors would be able to make mass numbers of these types of area cures either. It is worth testing though.

Wouldnt need to make a mass of them as long as you get yourselfsome same serial Janta Blood and Biles with 160+ charges are easy enough to come by.
