Hello,

I am about to train in Doctor and I am looking to buy a droid that will allow me to heal wounds away from a med center but I have no idea what makes a good Med Droid.

Could someone here please tell me what I should look for?

Thank You for any help

MSE droid w/110 med cap, food/chem crafting station.

those damn surgical bots just draw way to much attention to themselves, my mse droid sits quietly under my duster, safe from /summon and sight

"medjinx" has the following installed within his R2 frame.

110 med module

10 item storage

Food/Chem station

150 item datapad

why the datapad? as a crafting doc, schematics suck up tons of space in the regular datapad, so it makes sense to have a droid pad to hold the extra schems

wheres does one find on of these droids with the storage units in...anybody able to recomend a DE who can srt this for me ? I only have a crafting station and the 110 med bonus in y surgical droid. I like the idea of the MSE droid to keep hidden as not to draw attention to yourself

The MSE droid can only contain a crafting station and a 110 bonus module, that's it. They go relitivly cheap, too, around 5k (last I purchased one).

I just got a tricked out one myself, and am very happy with it
110 med use module
craftin station
10 item storage
150 datapad
Stim Delivery unit

Hey, the stim delivery thing is kinda funny, it kicks out Stim As to anyone in group that targets it and selects "despense stim". Not much help, really, but kinda cool. Just another little add-on that's fun to play with.

Total cost on that was 35k, so still not really a bank-breaking purchase

I run Ubuntu Linux and play SWG with Cedega. Give the live CD a try, you'll like it

Any droid will work really, you just need 3 mods in it. What you are looking for is a Food and Chem crafting mod, a storage mod, and a 110 Med Mod. But if you are looking for the cheepest way out all you really need is the 110 Med Mod.

What would you put in a "spare no expense" droid?

Thanks again!

Get one that is 110 med rated. Do not get any med droid that is less then 110 rating. A nice web page to see all the models of droids and their explanationswas www.jveedroids.com but I see that page is now disabled... too bad. I knew J'Vee was gone but the page had been up for quitea while and was very descriptive.

Four of my five droids are med droids because it is too convienent. I'd recommend getting one with storage as well. A typical med droid has 110 med rating, 10 slot storage and a food crafting staion installed. My favorite droid is my binary load lifter with that combo. My R3 droids are stonger in HAM but my droids never see battle anyway.

I usually get a R3 droid, with medical 110, 10 item storage capacity, food crafting station, droid repair module (no one else seems to bother getting a droid to repair wounds on other droids, someone has to) and two combat modules. I recently decided to try a probot with the same loadout but only one combat module, he seems OK. I also have a 114 rating harvesting R3, and two storage droids (never enough room).

The storage mod does not work in the Surgical droids.

"Who says you have to use surgical droids? any droid will do"

That's true but he is a new Doc and may not know that the storage units do not work in surgical droids. He'll go to a MDE or vendor buy one and be disappointed. I was only pointing it out so he could avoid being disappointed.
