I recently started harvesting my own resources. I want to stock up ahead of time on the harvesters I'll need for each spawn, and was looking for a little help...

Lokian Wheat, Dantooine Berry, Domesticated Oats - Automated Flora Farm
Tattooinian Fiberplast - ??
Talusian Water - Moisture Vaporators (??)
Dolovite Iron - ??
Class IV Liquid Petro - Deep Crust Chemical Extractors
Reactive Gas - Heavy Natural Gas

Thanks. Glad I can re-use my chem extractors. Now, I just need moisture vaporators and mineral extractors, and I'm all set...

Here is what I've learned so far about harvesting resources, hope it helps:

Step 1 -- Get a fusion generator and harvest radio active energy to power your other harvesters.

Step 2 – Go to the "Trade" forum and see what is selling on your server.

Step 3 – Go to swgcraft.com, select “current resources” on the left, your server and “all planets” from the pull down menus up top to see what resources are spawning on your server.

Step 4 – Resources change in as little as 7 days so don’t waste effort on a spawn that is more than a couple days old. Remember that you have to pay a penalty to destroy and reuse your harvester.

Step 5 – Don’t waste effort on randomly placing harvesters, if you can’t survey for a good spot hire someone that can. Check them every day to avoid paying maintenance on a harvester doing nothing

Step 6 – Sell enough of the resources to pay your costs and stockpile the rest.

Step 7 – As you get better resources, sell the inferior ones of the same kind. Getting even one cpu should pay your cost to harvest it.
