I recently purchased some clothing with +medicine use which would put my total medicine use at 57 with pharm 2 and thought i would try out some stim Cs. Well I tried it and it does not work. All that happens is a window pops up saying I only have 20 medicine use and need 31 which is wrong. Can anyone else confirm that this is not working?Also i was wondering if it was just clothing with skill attachments in them or they were made specially by a tailor.

Yup, they don't work as far as I know.

Or at least, the + to medicine use doesn't work. Your clothing is probably bio-engineered.

Does medical enhanced clothing no longer work???



I used to be able to use STIM Cs, now I cant...

Med Usage never worked on clothing. Besides which it was also removed anyways. (And yes, there really are plenty of good reasons for that.)

HOw about the bioengineered clothing with the +25 medical use?Is thatnot working (if not why put it in game so recently LOL)?



If it is working will it pump me to 125 and actually effect my enhancement/stim application?

That was taken out a few patches ago, Devs felt a 4400 Doc with 80 med use was way too powerful.

Can we have the caps taken off of the damage/wound healing bonuses though? With decay and everything it should be ok, and the enhanced clothing is really pricey anyways.

If i bought clothing that was medically advanced, would it give me a bonus of any kind?



Preholo Scout, Opened Holo, Swordsman, did Brawler before finished swordsman. Next holo, Artisan, finished. Next, entertainer, finished. Next, silent. Now medic for fun.

I've just ordered a BE clothing with injury treatment +9 and wound treatment +14. Are you all saying this won't work or is it just the med use clothes?

Only med use and combat med use were removed.

All other + skills can be used up to +25 total per character (including alien bonus abilities BTW).

Just want to make sure I read it right, BE clothes will do nothing for my medical abilities. I'm working on orerding two sets and would rather save then money then pisss it away.

Clothing with BE components will show ratings of modifiers to Wound Treatment and Injury Treatment. Those clothings (and any tapes with such modifiers) will all work just find by improving your skill in those areas by up to +25 over your current skill levels.


However, if you see any clothing or old loot tapes that claim to provide modifiers to Medical Usage or Combat Medical Usage (those specific skill names, not all Medical abilities, just those 2 specific skills) they will not work. No new medical enhancement clothing should have those modifiers listed, only old clothing will have that anyways.
