What (if any) macros do you guys use for pvp? I didn't think i need a macro untill i ran into the following situation:
I am an imp, and if there is one thing I hate, its rebels thinking that they can kill my friends, the dark troopers. Since the rebs on my server seem to prefer the covert killing of dark troopers, it provides an excelent opportunity for me, the overt rifleman to rack up some kills and hate tells. The first time its always easy, I throw my armor on, eat my food, drink my drink, and spice my spice, then strafe 2 everybody to death, then murder them all with sniper shot. It worked pretty well untill i got killed by a tkm. I had incapped him, and moved on to the next target. He used Force of Will to stand back up and dizzy/kd me. I hadn't noticed him stand back up, as I was blasting his friends.
The other problem im having is that I kill players to fast, so I am having pauses where I am not strafing anybody due to not being able to strafe an incapped player. It is very important that i be able to keep the cone of amazing death going.
The three macros im going to try are as follows:
/strafe2;/strafe2;/snipershot
/headshot3;/headshot3;/snipershot
/ui action cycleTargetOutward;/strafe2;/strafe2;/snipershot
The first and second seem to work pretty well, but i haven't had a chance to try the third. The snipershot mixed in should work out pretty nice. If it doesn't work because they aren't incapped, i dont think it takes any time away from the next strafe loaded up. The 2 strafes:1 snipershot is not to say that 2 shots is all it takes to take someone out. The snipershot only eats time if the body is incapped (i think) I also want the snipershot for the situations where i incap 4 dudes, but 5, 6, 7, and 8 take me out. Then when the rebs /kick, /spit, /jump...on my body, i can laugh and point out that he/she has 4 friends visiting the clone center, all because of me.
Finally, the above described bloodletting is only possible because i am a human doc as well. I use a kick ass t21 with a mind encumb of 102. The other two are in the 60's i think. If it wasn't for the 1100 mind and 1100 focus that doc allows me to do, i would not be able to shoot such a high cost rifle. Rifle does not need a nerf, doc does. If you want to use the description of my killing spree as an example of the over power of rifle, here you go, .nlm from the right hand, and mln. from the left (that is me flipping the bird)

Good armor and a panic shot will pretty much FUBAR you.
Don't get too cocky.

wondering what u guys are using if any at all for a macro for pvp? I am sick of hitting F11, F12, and then F7 and spam F6 over and over. Is it worth using a mac. for this to dizzy, knockdown, intimidate,and unarmed hit 3? Since sometimes they don't stick.

I have one that I use for PvE. PvP, imo is too varying, and based on your ability to adapt to the opponents tactics.
The problem, like you said, is that applying states isn't guaranteed to work and they don't always stick. I have a small one that goes something like this:
/intimidate1;
/intimidate1; sometimes I'll change this to only 1 intimidate if I'm wearing modded clothing.
/unarmed Knockdown2;..... I throw this in here just to see what happens...sometimes it sticks, mostly it doesn't in PvP
/unarmed Stun;
/unarmed Blind;
/unarmedHit3...6 or7 times (again, this is a PvE macro and most mobs are dead, or severely injured at this point)
I have heard of some people running macros just for /intimidate, /blind, /stun, /warcry and such... I've never used them in a PvP setting so I can't attest to how well they work.

if you are in a duel with someone, a helpful macro is one that does the dizzy, stun, and blind attacks for you all in one key. warcry+2 or 3 intimidates is also one i use. things can change so fast that i prefer to keep most of my attacks on separate hotkeys, as annoying as that is.
in open pvp scenarios, a TKM isn't going to be doing alot of damage, so i prefer to limit my options to dizzy, intimidate, warcry, KD, head hit, and lunge 1. if you have anyone fighting with you that is worth their salt and is a damage dealing profession, they will wait for you to get the KD and then start beating on the opposition. i am a CM as well, so if i am forced into a situation in which i am pvping alone, i usually try to focus on keeping everyone dizzy and on their backs and let the poison and disease tick.
like i said though, i find that combat macros are usually a burden to me since they can prevent you from reacting for the time it takes to get through one.

Thanks guys for the input, I just got to thinking last night when i was having a hard time taking a jedi down, got him down a few times but was frantically running after him using his darn force run. Got him down close and almost took him with others, but we lost as we were unprepared. Thank you again for the tips and I will get him next time I see him!!

Like you said, having a macro that does one of each state is a bad idea, since chances are it wont stick.
However, here is something I worked out that can be very effective in PvP...
You setup F12 with a dump macro, /ui action clearCombatQueue(sp?); /dump; /m center; (center is my cob macro)
Then for every hit you want on your toolbar, turn it into a spam (macro UAH3, /unarmedhit3; /m UAH3;
So you get into a fight, hit the intim spammer. once it sticks hit F12, then hit the key for your dizzy spammer. And so on.
In ideal conditions, this is faster and more effective then doing it manually. However, sh!t happens in pvp (lag can mess things up, you never know), so I dont use this anymore for pvp.
Something I often use when PvEing for loot, is a hit-loot macro, so /unarmedhit3; /loot; /m hitloot; Then have the dump macro in F12.
Oh yeah, and cob macro if u dont have one
call it center. /centerofbeing; /pause 32; (if tkm), /m center;
Those are all the strictly tka macros I consider worth using... if u have any doc, state heal macros are good too.

im a tkm/cm. i suggest not using a macro for pvp becuase if the state gets on them u will waste time dumping it. the only macro i suggest is the center macro. when i pvp i usally throw a poison then i intimidate and then kd and either spam mind hit if there in armor or spam unarmed 3 if there no armor or a jedi. macros can cuase lag which will really mess u up.

myself....
i have a state macro that i use to start things off. for those that don't stick, i have the individual states hotkey'd.
i also have a warcry/intimidate macro that i use as well to give me time to fgure things out if things are not going my way.
other than that...no macros in pvp. it is too dynamic.
