Thread: 55 Med Use Fire Blankys

Are these only possible on select servers? I'm not a crafting docter (Just 3000 at the moment), so I don't know what determines the med use, but I know resources differ from server to server so if that plays a part in the MU of something.


I know a few people outside my server who have said they have 55 med use blankets, but haven't found any on mine (Sunrunner).


What's it take to make a 55 MU blanket? Is it a scarce thing?


Any Sunrunner Docs do it?

It is possible to make, but it requires really high quality resources. The ease of use on fire blankets depends on the OQ (66%) and on the PE (33%) of the resources you're using. So to be able to craft thosea Doc will need to use Rori fungus witharound 950+ OQ and PE and Aluminum with 950+ OQ.

I havnt been able to get past 56 med use. Kind of pisses me off. /shrug

It takes 900+/700+OQ/PE rori fungi.


There's never really been a good spawn on eclipse of rori fungi, I used 999 OQ aluminum with 800 OQ 600 PE rori fungi and I was only able to get it to 57

I have a crate of fire cures on flurry that are 55 MU and about 450 cure eff. I love em

Yea, I'm only getting 398 cure/ 65 med use. But im not making them to sell so med use is not important to me. Truth is, I dont see that many peeps needing fires put out

best on farstar I've gotten is 56 mu, and thats using 999 oq aluminum :/ .....


I'll have to keep waiting i suppose

Mintas, my friend.....I wish you luck. The limiting factor on Tempest is the Rori Fungus. The only spawn close to having the correct stats is Kresxiwe, which spawned on August 31st of this year and ran for about two weeks. With my stockpile I've only been able to get to MU57 and as a result, the MU55 fire blanket has become my personal Holy Grail. Since the metal combine does not add PE, the overall OQ/PE of the organic is probably as critical as any medical combine can be.


If you make some MU55 blankets, I will be forced to raise a small altar somewhere on Tempest in your honor.

While there is a notable demand for MU55 blankets (if they're possible on your server), there is also a demand for MU60 blankets. I make two kinds of blankets and both sell well: Low MU (MU60 with reduced effectiveness) and Power (which are MU65 and as much power as possible).

Umm, just finished a full run of 55MU blankets. Sadly I did not have that 998 OQ alum but the 950ish was good enough. Give me a yell Pip if you need more.


The ability to make them is all about the fungus as stated above. Every sever will have alum that is good enough but that OQ/PE on Rori fungus will be the killer. The second place Rori fungus on Flurry does not cut it.
