that's a good idea, but we arn't going to ask for it. the reason is that it's such a minor thing that we don't want to put it to the DEVs. if we bring them 20 or 30 'little' things, it's much more likely none of them (a few mabye) will get done then if we get our top request(s) presented and emphisized to the exclusion of most/all else. I hope that make sence.

Being a skill attained in the Medic profession, it's actually in my top 5 list of issues, and is a long requested feature.

Greetings everyone.

As a new Master Doctor, and one that doesnt want to just be a buff doc,
I have a request for a minor change to one of the dialog boxes.

/diagnose

this is one of the most useful tools that a doc has, but in order for
the doc to check his patients stats, he has to close the box, then open
a new one in order to see the changes in his patients health.

can we add a 'refresh' button to the box to ease up on having to open,
read, close, open, read etc...?

just a request from someone who doesnt spend all day in the Mining Outpost
spamming buffs for 15k.

actually it doesnt make sense...

if we don't let the devs know about the little things, the bigger issues may seem trivial and insignificant.
this feature had been asked for back during beta 3, and at the time was either shelved due to its considered
insignificance, or forgotten about. its not a difficult thing to do either, just a simple xml button that
refreshes the pane. but if in your opinion that is less important than something else I can respect that.

Actually this is a very bad attitude to have, because simply put, the devs want to know all the bugs and all the feature requests in order to make this a better game. What you don't realise though is that the devs often ask us to give them a simple bug to fix or feature to add (mostly bugs) in amongst all the big stuff they're doing.

What I want is to have a "memory" for the size of the box. I run a /daig macro so that it opens the diag box and auto closes after 2 seconds. However the window does not open large enough to show all the players stats so I have to mouse over and wheel my mouse quickly before it closes. This is a great macro for speed diagnosing peeps on the run. If I could change the size of my window and the game remember what size I like to keep it things would be much better. As it is it only remembers the size for the patient I changed it one.

For example if I resized the diagnosis window for Seviak then everytime I reopen the window for him it will be the size I set it too, however as soon as I /diagnose Quinlan it is back to the small size where I have to scroll through the stats.
