You're still a Master Doc I take it? Because if for any reason you drop the Master Box you'd end up with only +75 Wound Treatment Skill instead of 100 and that would affect the power of your buffs.

Did you make sure your battle fatigue and the bf of the buffee are both below 250?

Try charging your droid. Lately they've been bugged so that the power display stays at 75% even though the batteries are dead.

Are you in the same location? If you are in a medical city, buffs are higher I believe. But if you're in the same location, same product, same droid, result should be the same unless your BF is very high. Also, when you get bad results, do a /diag on your target, you'll see their BF. Above 250, the buff value decrease for that person.

If your droid is dead, you shouldn't be able to buff (assuming you're not in a medical center)

In theory...but I've been able to buff with a dead droid before, since this bug arose.

Here's a list of things that will affect buffs:
1. Effectiveness rating of the buff packs
2. Doctor's Wound Treatment modifier (this can be enhanced by BE clothes and bivoli, up to +25 for each)
3. Patient's Battle Fatigue (above 250 starts affecting all healing actions, including buffs) Note: the doc's BF only matters when tyhe doc is buffing himself, not when buffing others
4. Location/Droid modifier- A 110 rated droid is the best (applies a 1.1 modifier). The droid will override the a structure, IF the droid is charged. All player structures (houses, hospitals, cantina, merchant tents, theaters, PC cloning centers, city halls and guild halls) have a1.0 rating, as do NPC med centers. Camps range from 0.35 for small scout camps to 1.0 for large ranger camps.
If you are in a camp, med center or any player structure, you will be able to buff without a droid or with a droid that has no power, but the droid's modifier will not take effect.

also check your bivoli and see how good it is. there's a big differencebetween 24 and 25
