Thread: Who has /taunt
I'm a Master Fencer/Master Doctor and have "taunt". Used it recently to draw a krayt addy away from its kin. Seemed to work nicely. As mentioned, it didn't hold agro though. As quickly as I ran back to my group, I was forgotten by the krayt as it attacked my group members and left me relatively alone.
Don't take this as gospel, just one experience.

However, if either a rifleman is using advanced specials or a doc / CM / jedi is healing the critters current target, you will generate less hate then they do, so you cant keep creatures off riflemen or healers. Thats why healers and riflemen currently become the tanks and a TKMs can do nothing about it.
I'm a TKM/MDoc and i have the impoved taunt from TKM. its a single targetcommand with some cooldown time, so it cannot be spammed to get the agro from many targets (swordsman get an area taunt - dont know why thou - as he is no tank, by the CU combat role definitions).
after i usetaunt it hardly breaks the agro. its very easy for me to tank even high level targets - as long as its justone i do very fine. i can even handle 2 or 3 targets - but usualy dont get the agro, as the taunt timer is to long andi dont outdamage others with my TKM.
if u get a TKM in the group and takeone mob at a time u should not get into trouble - evenif u heavily have toheal the TKM (which shouldnt be necessary if he uses no crafted armour to get his innate armour workingand the Center of Being skill).
sometimes i even get argo on peacefull mobs just becource im a medic/doc/cm .. even had some missions npc's i had to talk to or pickup auto argo me
real bummer if u try to do a mission and fail becource it atacks you ...
