Maybe if they made players wound faster that would increase the demand for docs. I just dont see a lot of players with heavy wounds anymore, and I have never gotten a /tell from someone asking me to heal their wounds. I do get some /tells asking for a revive but even that is not often unless I am at the village during phase 4

You have not been to a starport lately. Since they added wounds to JTL death I've seen people in terrible shape but it appears that wounds don't impact how you pilot so i think they don't care much.

Wounds for space death were in the game since JtL went live. I leveled up to master doc by just sitting in the arrival zone of any major starport, ninja-healing the wounds of downed pilots. But yes, as long as they just want to get back into space they dont really care. But most of them soon discovered that they were toast in the ground game with 500 wounds and 1000 BF, so they appreciated being healed.

The CU messed things up where people didn't get wounds for the first few days. I noticed this myself. I think that's what Snooze is referring to. 
But yeah, you don't seem to get wounds in battle as quickly as you used to post-CU. At least that's what I've noticed from my own experiences.
