Alright, I'm thinking of starting to craft buffs and sell them (before I've just bought and buffed in the starport).
I read the FAQ and stuff but I was curious, how long does it take to become a 12 point doc and whats the fastest/best way to do that?
Also, whats the standard buff crafted for none-12point doctors? Thanks in advance.

Getting those extra experimentation points depends on getting a minimum of +20 for medicine experimentation...so with +5 out of the way once you get a Doc Crafting Apron, the rest must come from looted clothing or SEAs fitted into socketed clothing.

Luck or knowing those who have decent luck while killing relatively high-end NPC mods are sort of what gets you the SEAs; that or being somewhat rich (in the order of several, maybe several tens, of millions of credits) to buy them off of others who have looted such things.

Fastest way to do this? I really dunno, except make lots of money somehow or farm high-end mobs, alot.

Non-twelve point Docs generally will have almost the exact same power and duration as twelve point Docs. Resources are the biggest factor here, then how many points you can experiment with. ACRDM's and ASDS', as far as I know, can be maxed out with ten points (or less), so you wouldn't be at a disadvantage there. The main difference would be in experimenting ABEC's and the buff pack final combine.
I usually experiment all charges first on ABEC, then power, so having (my last point for twelve) would increase the power of the ABEC and thus the buff. Non-twelve point Docs can max out the 'effectiveness' line just the same as twelve point Docs, but then the Docs with extra points can experiment down to MU 90 for a larger market or add a few more charges.

Ok first learn about shifts. Then www.swgcreatures.com will tell you what animals on what planets have avain meat.

www.swgcraft.com lists what is in shift the stats and what not.

Doc are picky about their meats for a good reason they have to have good stats to be usable.

There is a guide about shifts in the Artisan forums some where... I might find it if no one else does.

hmm... its not quite that easy. Each planet has different creatues that drop avian. Nunas on tat, pekos on naboo...etc.

Whats more important is the stats of the meat currently in spawn. Best way to find out is to go to each planet and find a creature, harvest the meat and check its stats. Check this thread for information about what stats are important to what profession when it comes to creature resources.

Lots might be a better word, Kaadus and Chukoos come to mind.
