Thread: New Doctor Thanking Zarlor and the Doctor Community.
You know you make one pretty Figure Head for the Doctor Profession.
Or if you want you can be called a "Face man".
=)
I've been playing SWG since launch (well technically the day after... but close enough
) and the primary character I've played has been very combat oriented...
I'm nearly a Master Bounty Hunter... I was a Master Ranger at one point... and almost a Master Pistoleer atanother point.
I have Novice Medic... but aside from knowing where to get Stim B's... there's not a lot to know about the profession from my old perspective.
A few weeks ago made a new character, and I'm currently 1-2-1-0 in Doctor.... andI must commend Zarlor and the rest of the Doctors of SWG for making this Profession Forum such a well organized place. Any and all the information I wanted to help me make better decisions and understand the nature of BEING a Doctor were all at my finger tips. As well as a some excellent posts regarding the known issues with this profession...
After spending most of my time previous in the Bounty Hunter forums... this place is the Garden of Eden. ![]()
So kudos and thanks... you've made my transition from combat to healer oh so much easier...
Dr. Fesa Thralkii - Corbantis
Thanks, but as I've said many times before here those issues are actually all of your issues. I'm just a glorified list maker. ![]()
I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the transition, though. This can be a very rewarding profession to play and one where your skills come in handy for helping out fellow players in a very direct manner.
The best way for folks who get into the community to help themselves, as well as all of the new Doctors out there, is by jumping right in. Don't be afraid to let us know if you have an issue that doesn't appear to be on the lists (or if the lists are just unclear about something.) And when the time comes, jump right in doing that "civic duty" of voting on your top issues to help us keep those lists prioritized so that the issues that are bugging us all the most get the most attention. Master Doc for months, or brand new Novice Doc, it doesn't matter. The issues important to you are what matter because it speaks to the life-cycle of the profession throughout the spectrum of playing it.
So welcome!

From a Master Doctor who has recently gotten involved in this great part of the forum, I must also say thanks to you Zarlor, You may call yourself a "glorified list maker" but you ARE OUR glorified list maker. And I for one am happy to have you at the head of the table.
