Thread: Master Doc Benefits/Medical Bag

If SOE wants more of a reason to get the master box, have a medical bag as that reason. Right now I am overloaded with my backpack and my invfull of supplies and crates and finished medpacks. Here is what I carry:


1. 4 crates of Bio effect controllers (2adv 2norm)


2.4 crates of CRDM's (2adv, 2 norm)


3. 4 crates of solid dilivery shell (2adv, 2 norm)


4. 4 crates of liquid suspention (2adv, 2 norm)


5. 1 medpack E for Health, Action, Stamina, Strength, Constution & quickness.


6. Medpack for posion & dissease,


7. Buff pack for Health, Action, Stamina, Strength, Constution & quickness.


8. 10k+ units of HQ organic in general


9dolovite iron, tatooonin fiberplast, clsss 4 petro, Herbavore meat, Avian meat, Reactive gas, datoonie berries, Flowers, Gas, Lokian wheat. Theres more but you get the idea.

craft at your house and leave that stuff there. I personally want a master doc benefit a little more tangible than the ability to be a pack horse. If you carry enough crates of the meds you use then you don't need all the ingredients on top of it.

I dealt with this issue often before. With word of the need to buy insurance and the 20% death thing, I decided to change the way I play a doctor. Now instead of carrying all the ingredients and making stims 1 at a time, I use crates of each of the stims and heals I need and pull them out keeping the resources at home. I've also grown very tired of traveling all over the galaxy looking for resources. I buy my meds now becuase the meds I can buy usually far out do any level of med I can make with the resources I can get. It's expensive, but it has freed up LOTs of space for nothing really..

A Master Doctor/Combat Medic needs over 45 packs to be "fully functional". That is without ANY crafting equipment and always using the top level packs even when they are overkill. Even if you don't carry the disease packs it's still 27+ items, and really you need more than one stimpack if you're going hunting for any length of time. It really sucks up a lot of room!


3 stim packs (small, ranged and aoe)


6 wound packs


6 enhance packs


6cure packs (poison, disease and states)


6 poison packs (3 single, 3 area)


9 single disease packs


9 area disease packs

A nice benefit for Master Doc would be to scew the effectiveness of enhancers more to the Master Doc box. This was people, while still being able to enhance to a certain extent at 0-4-3-0, would still want a master Doc to buff them where posssible.

i prefer havingmulti-purpose wound packs andstats cures... or enchance packs that enchancesastat and its secondary statswith one shot

Greetings,

As a Master Doctor who carries only the medicines I am using (no crafting gear or resources), I use 44 slots - almost my whole backpack!

6 Enhancement Packs
6 Crates (that the Enhances came from/extras are in)
6 Wound Packs
6 Crates (that the Woundpacks came from/extras are in)
4 Cure State Packs
4 Crates (that the Cures came from/extras are in)
2 Cure Packs (one each Poison/Disease)
2 Crates (that the Cures came from/extras are in)
1 Resuscitation Kit
1 Crate (that the Kits came from/extras are in)
2 Stimpack Ds (always keep two out, incase your crate gets bugged at a bad time)
1 Crate (that the Stims came from/extras are in)
3 Cargo Pouches (to organize all that stuff)

A crate of pet food and any stims/crates I’m toting around for friends or as part of an order normally over-filly my backpack and send it spilling into my main inventory, which isn’t exactly spacious either (and I don’t even carry armor!)

I would positively love the addition of some sort of “medical bag” that would allow us to stash our supplies in without ousting other needed equipment. While I agree there are better places to put such an ability (Master Medic would be nice, as something to give folks incentive for learning more than Novice+FA4) but if they handed it to Master Doctors, I know I wouldn’t complain.
