Thread: Nice New Silent Doctor Nerf
HEre is something that I caught in the patch notes and after I got online, Yep it is true and it sucks for us doctors and making enhance packs.
Dang it>>
So what I was getting at was this:
Changed where resources from creatures no longer stack if from different creatures"
What does this mean to us you ask?
Well how about Avian Meat, which is needed for almost every Enhance pack you make? It is going to be harder to save up the resources needed to create enhance packs after this change. You see they no longer stack so the crafting schematic no longer views them all the same. This is a huge problem. Zarlor, you think you can get that changed?

If that was the case, you'd be able to harvest only 60 units of avian meat at a time. The note was referring to looted components, as Zarlor pointed out. I believe, in the past, you could pick up some Janta Blood from one Janta and get some more from another Janta and they'd stack (assuming their attributes were the same). That has now been changed. Even if the attributes are the same, if they're from different creatures/NPC's, they won't stack.
As far as the avian meat thing goes - I harvested 3k units tonight - it stacks just fine.
I can tell you that while I was on Test Center last week I did notice that I had multiple stacks of different leathery hides as I hunted and harvested hides.
At first I thought maybe it was due to a resource shift. Then after looking more closely as I harvested the hides I noticed that different types of animals were giving different types of leathery hides and each type had different stats.
This seems to agree with what the original poster's friend told him.
You can look at this a couple of ways.
#1 (negative effect) This will make it harder to gather large quantities of a certain type of meat.
#2 (positive effect) Since the same general type of meat from different animals will have different stats you have more opportunity to get decent quality meats since different planets have differing types of herbivores and avians.
As regards #2 for example, prior to the patch if the herbivore meat on say Tatooine was of bad quality then that was that. Now if the meats from say gorgs is of poor quality then perhaps the meat from an eopie or a bantha will be of better quality and more suited for making medicines.
Hunting for resource gathering will now be more involved. Can't just shoot the first herbivore you see and decide to go hunt on another planet because all herbivore meat is the same. Now all herbivore meat types must be checked for quality before writing off a planet.
