I am a Wookiee CM/Doc and I dont think I would trade. I really enjoy the extra HAm points, and I am not weighed down by armor to slow regeneration. I think its a great combo for a support role. But then again, I don't PVP and usually take a non-fighting role in group combat.

Please keep in mind I am still very new to this game.

Ok I need some advice. I have a Wookie that is on the path to Doctor/Pistoleer. I was wondering if it might be best to reroll him now (before I get too far into it) into either a Zabrak or Human. Will armor be that important to a Doctor? It seems like I am getting eaten alive w/o any armor. Is there any other reasons or tips why I would/should not reroll?

Thanks in advance sirs/ma'ams!

Im a Doc, and the only armor I use is a Helmet, and I only use that in PvP.

Im a (non-wookie) doc and do both pvp and pvm - typically I carry a pack with chitin, composite, and social clothing. Normally I just wear the composite suit (no helmet) as I like to get involved in fights (also novice carbinier). For pvp I put a helmet on, for group fighting I wear social clothing and rely on burst run and/or the skill of my teammates (varies greatly depending on who Im teamed with).

So if you are a wookie and play a support role I see no reason to re-roll at all. For pvp a helmet is pretty much required unless you stay far, far out of range (hint: change your title if you use one to novice something-other-than-doc).

*sigh* I want an edit button - you may want to consider getting at least novice CH and a lowbie pet. Instead of letting the pet kill the mob, simply let him tank it while you kill it. That way you dont have to worry about the mob hitting you, and you dont need (or want) armor at all.

I would add thatI'm pretty sure Wookiees can use Personal Shields, at least. (Well, I can equip one, I've just never used it yet, so I'm only guessing it will work.) Otherwise, I did it all for the Wookiee! (Meaning, I like playing a Wookiee Doc.)

I am a doctor, human, I buff the living crap out of my self. in the really bad fights armor is the only thing that keeps me alive.

best put the wookie away and get a trandoshan. best compromise between ham bonus and armor.

I would have but they are so ugly
