Thread: i need major help. havent played my master doc for over a year. what in the world has happened

well. i reopened my account today to find that im in the middle of no where and cant move because i have too many skill points. whats up with that? had to drop about 30 skill points. next i notice that i cant use my pistol anymore. finally i notice that all my buffs are gone and replaced with some funny stuff. cant remember what they are called, but have the nerfed docs to the point where its no good to be a doc anymore? can i not buff anymore? can i not use a freaking gun? what good is it to be a doc now? plus i keep getting this message about respecing. what doees that mean? i dont know anything anymore. someone please help me so i can play this stupid game again. lol

Before weapon certification was solely based on a certain skill. Now some weapons still work that way. Others are based on what combat level you are. You gain combat level based on how many combat skills you have (it's next to your name on the left) 80 is the max. One master elite prof will give you 54. The max, 80, is two master elite profs. Buffs are totally different. You don't need packs and you won't be making money buffing. BE now makes all medical supplies, but a doc does not need any of them (they do somewhat enhance abilities). That should get you started and read teh CU guides for more info

Doc counts as a combat profession so, if you're a master doc, you can use any L54 or below weapon that has no class requirement on it.
You can still buff, you no longer need buffpacks.
You can still heal wounds,
You now heal people in combat to gain medical XP if you want any.
Doc/TKM is now the best tank in the game and as a bonus does not need armour
