Hey there fellow Docs... I just figured this out the other day and thought I would share... Some may already know this... but for those of you that don't this really helps while buffing in crowded areas....
Ok... lets say your in Coronet... buffing... and it is realy difficult to see anything in spatial because there is 20 people there spamming garbage all over your screen... well I found a little solution that fixes this... it's really simple actually.... put the spammers on your ignore list... atleast for the time while your buffing... this removes all that annoying spam off your screen.... It is the first thing I do even before I call out my droid... I sit down... watch for the spammers name in spatial... then I start adding them to the list until I see no more spam... then call out my droid... and start buffing.... and boy does it make a HUGE difference..... makes things so much easier.... now your customers words don't get lost in the spam....

my problem with coronet was seeing the tips come through. 7 out of 10 players just tip you non-bank, and the bloody spamming was getting hard cause i had to manually scroll up through all the stuff to find the line where thier tip came in. So what i did was make a custom tab through the tab menus. This tap, i call my Tip Counter, only shows system information, no spacial, no /tells, just anything that derives a system message, which includes tips from players and the amount your buff packs are hitting for. Worked great and clears out so much of the garbage. Placing spammers on ignore is great, but you still have conversations being had around you which still gets filtered in. With a custom tab, you can filter spacial "so, what ya doing?" talk out the window and just focus on counting tips and your buff strengths.

Hmm... good idea... sounds like doing both would be a good plan....

I don't want to fool with grouping people... one extra step... I did the new chat window thing... but that does not keep the spam off yer "main" screen... ya still see the annoying balloons in main window... the ignore thing gets that stuff off yer screen...

yes i know it does, but once the chat window is made its there for ever (or it used to be in my case) nomore spending 20mins adding people to the ignor list, also having people grouped can help with keeping the queue in order
each to their own i guess

Ya... I suggest everyone figure out what works the best for them... perhaps combining all the ideas will help...
I personally like getting all that spam off my screen... not just outta the chat window... but the chat bubbles are annoying to me too....

you could also make a new chat window and add to it group chat and i think its system messege, now group all who want buffing and use tis window, u cantalk to them all in here see tells and when they tip you
