I was buffing my main character with my doctor alt in the Coronet starport when a shuttle came in. Damn. Suddenly I'm surrounded with a crowd asking for buffs. My bad for buffing out in the open, even though I had on my usual "novice artisan" tag.

So after buffing three or four people I figured it was time to "run out of packs", so I could get the hell out of dodge. I announce to the ever growing line that I'm out of packs after the three who have paid.

I finish them up and someone else asks me, so I tell him I'm out of buffs. He trades me a super spiffy backpack with three sets of awesome buff packs in them and says "use these". I gave him half off, but he tipped the full amount.

He then told me to keep the packs and went on his merry way after I buffed him.

I was just sitting there thinking, "that went well".

Every time I log in I'm terrified they changed the game to Dance Dance Revolution without telling anyone after holding a "focus group"

Its people like that, that are the only reason i would ever consider public buffing. People that just stop and say nice buffs.. tip you a bit extra.. it aint about the money but just being polite and pleasant. BUFF ME NOW aint exactly a crowd pleaser

I had a funny one afterone of those buff me now people.

I was in Dathomir coming to Coronet because I had an appointment with an Image Designer. An individual approached me and asked me for buffs. I said I was sorry but I was going to Coronet for hair dresser appointment. Shuttle arrives and there I go to Corellia. Found the ID and to my great surprise there was the same individual again asking for buffs, he had followed me there and even after seeing me and the ID standing across from each other kept sending me tells. After ignoring 2 of his tells he started calling me **edit** and asking if I was really a 40 year-old man playing a woman!! He stopped aswering me after I quickly realized and asked him if he was a 13 year-old based on the "quick and smart" answers I got from him.

People like him make me think twice in buffing lines and bank scams

ha ha As I write this it may be a thing of the past!

Anyway, people have been scamming by faking the bank tip email and sending it. It gives the impression they've paid when in fact they haven't. The only way of telling was if a player has a first and second name. On genuine emails both first and surname are included, on fakes only the first.

With the publish that goes live today this problem is solved. All bank tip emails will now come from the bank, not the player via the bank.

WOW! What a low-life. Didn't know that. If ppl can't pay for buffs, at least they should have the desency to ask nicely for one with lower stats..
