I know one of the good reasons to be Doctor is to buff and of course to resurrect. I know alot of doctors that are both CM and Doctor and don't have alot of combat skills. When a group member getskilled they don't want to risk healing them, if it means too much risk. (like deep down in the geo cave). What about a one time use ressurect item that can be given to anyone to use.. but only lasts for 5 minutes (time starts as soon as it leaves doctors inventory) That way a stronger person can do a corpse run!
Good, bad?

Certainly not a bad idea, but I think its better that if you are in such a situation, someone has to be the docs bodyguard to get him down to the patient. It gives a better feel to the game
If you can't get to him to res him, tough. In RL (please don't flame) the injured gunner out in the open with an arterial wound will bleed to death, because it would be silly for the medics to try and get to him.

I would love to be able to craft anything new
All i ever make are buffs and the odd stim here and there. The flame blankets where nice, but we need something else like a decent loot drop maybe, WS, MAS, DE they all get them. I know we are not a TRUE crafting prof, but still.

I'd rather load up a droid with the packs and program it to go down and perform the rez. Can't you just see R2 buzzing up to a body with the electrical paddles out for the shock?
Droids could be programmed to stim/rez the owner in case of emergency too.
Doc Items I'd like to see:
Doctor's Medical Bag - doc can use meds from it without being in regular inventory. Bag grants extra inventory spots. As a doc, I have so many different stims, cures, buffs, wound packs, resources, crates, blankets, etc, that by the timeI need something, it takes forever to find. The bag could also let you prioritize packs such that one will be fully consumed before the next loses a charge. May be reqired to "equip" in place ofa weapon.
Medic's Medical Bag - same as the doc bag, but not as big/good.
Medical Scanner - Equipped instead of a weapon. Allows a player to tab throughfriendly targets. Would help to find wounded in crowded areas.
Deluxe Medical Scanner -Same as above, but alsogrants information such as type, strength, and duration remaining of buffs and DoTs. Helpful in determining whether to cure a poison, or just wait it out. We'd be able to tell how long we have to wait to rebuff someone or whether we can override their current buffs. An similar entertainer version would help to tell whether their buffs worked.
Medical Application Device (MAD)- This item is a delivery system for meds. It's treated like a powerup. A doc/medic with sufficient med use to use a particular item can package a med with a MAD to lower the med use on a single item. For example, anMD could load up a 92 med use buffpack with a -2MAD. The buff could now be used by a doc with 90 med use. The mins/maxes and med uses on meds could be tailored to allow non-medic players to use a MAD Stim A, but still require Novice Medic for a Stim B.
Tranquilzer Gun - a doc should be able to get a weapon cert for a tranq gun to slow a target like a scout trap. Would work on NPC/PC/Mob. Strength, duration, and chargeswould depend on components used. Maybe a better CM item? Maybe a WS makes it and we make the ammo? Modified cure state packs could be used to apply dizzy, stun, blind, intimidation, etc. They don't really do any damage, so it's more of a support/defensive weapon.
Stethescope - Clothing Item
Lab Coat - Clothing Item
Surgical Mask - Clothing Item
Head Mirror - Clothing Item
ID Gripe- wouldn't a doc be a better choice for being able to perform stat migration? If you want to start a work out program, you go see a doc, not a barber. Same with radical image changes... sounds like a plastic surgeon's work to me...
