I've been a master doctor for overa month now. I have placed my own hospital at my homecity of Tal'Alderaan on the Intrepid server. I will be dropping doctor within the next few days, but I'm worried what will become of my hospital. Since I won't be a doctor, will I still be able to run it and own it?

I don't know this for a fact, but I would assume that you will have to transfere ownership to another doctor. I could be wrong, but it would make sense that you don't own a hospital if you are not a doctor.

Yes you can drop master doctor and nothingadverse will happen.
You can only /transferStructure to someone else if they are a master doc too. I don't know if you can /transfer if you're not a master doc, but it appears that city structures like this act in exactly the same way as houses except that they have a prerequisite for you placing or receiving them.
