How important are the different stats in meats such as Avian Meat. Eg: Thowwu Avian Meat has

DR 425

Flavour 450

PE 221

OQ 944

compared to Paofe Avian Meat which has

DR 966

Flavour250

PE 536

OQ 82

From a Doctors point of view which meat would be more valuable to you and what stats would you be paying more attention to? What order of importance would you place the 4 stats?

This help is much appreciated.

I wouldn't use any meat under 800 OQ/PE (750 if I was desperate). Both stats are as important, DR is important also for duration, but in any case with such meat you willnot be able to reach 750 power, I would wait for a better spawn.

I use a weighted average to determine meat and reactive gas quality. Actually all of my resources for everything I make. Going from memory so this may be off a bit but for buff components I believe it is:

(7*OQ+ 2*PE + 2*DR + UT) / 12

The higher the better. And you can see that OQ is most important with PE and DR being equally important but much less so than OQ. PE affects effectiveness, DR affects duration.

The 2 above would be 658 and 298 respectively. Thowwu is much much better.

In general get as high OQ as you can first then worry about high PE & DR

You should pull up the crafting tool and look at the different buff types and subcomponents (Adv. BEC for example) and build a table from the window of what's important for experimentation. Most of the subcomponents say that OQ and PE are important, sometimes UT. And the buffs say that OQ, PE, DR are important. If you do more penciling you'll find more details, such as UT really only applies to fiberplast, because the other raw resources dont have UT anyway, and so on. Build a table of each resource and the important stats, such as

Reactive Gas - OQ DR (has no PE..., so PE doesn't matter)

Fiberplast - OQ UT (has no PE..)

Dol Iron - OQ ...

Wheat - OQ PE

DR affects the duration of the buff, average buffs can last around 2.5 hours but with high DR, they can approach 4 hours.

Bivoli food does as much to boost the buff as the clothes and droid do, so a buff that hits 2000 pts base can with bivoli (24%), clothes and droid go to 2500.

DR controls duration, so the worse the DR the shorter the duration of the buff. You must also consider the duration of the reactive gas that you will be using with the meat as a high DR gas can offset a lower DR meat somewhat. Flavor plays no part in Doc med crafting.

UT/PE affects charges and med use level of your packs. So the higher, the better.

Sorry, can't edit posts yet. Forgot to say that the most important stat in all doc resources is OQ. If it is low, then your pack, med or cure will be weak.

Check out this website. I'm sure it'll help explain a lot better.
