For making money buying them can be easier, but there is one other problem. As we saw on SunRunner when people become dependant on buff suppliers that when the suppliers go out of buissness there is a huge buff shortage and even bigger resource shortage.

On SunRunner both Astrid and Songe retired within a few weeks time. Buff have been seen to go up to 25k a set, but are slowly coming down to resonable prices.

I personaly make my own buffs so that way if there is a crash I can still stay afloat.

I say buy them. This is just because I can not stand crafting. I went through the trouble of making one set of advanced stim Bs way back and I never want to deal with all that crap again.

I have completed a lot of the so-called "content" in the game that I want to do...so that leaves the problem of "what do I do next?". Well, as a master doc, I build my own buff packs, using resources that I have collected. The harvesting, while not really "fun", does give me "Something" to do in game, when I can't find anything exciting myself. So I would recommend collecting the resources yourself, unless you just don't want to be "bothered" with the work. It gives me a purpose in-game now, beyond buffing people or healing wounds, etc... That's just my humble opinion. Do what you want is the bottom line.

If you're only doing it for the money, you'll make it faster by buying a good set and then being a buff bot for days on end. You will eventually make more money than by collecting resources, building them, etc...just because that's all you're doing is buffing people for credits.

buying is usually the best unless you make them in mass, making buffs is a real pain to collect everything, and unless you make them in mass to stock up or whatever it is pretty much pointless.

When buying just buy in crates once you can afford it, and you won't have any problems with buff pack business going screwed because by the time you run out another business will be up and at em.

Make them. Just buy them until you get the resources to make your own. Gathering resources is a pain, but if you do it slowly when something good spawns it will be much cheaper in the end. Keep in mind too that if the merchant nerf hits, finding buff packs will be much harder.

i do both make and buy depens on the quality of buff your trying to achieve but from my expierence if you make them yourself

the number one advantage you never have to waste time looking for them and you don't go into the mode is this all i'm going to

do the game expirence is much better i collect resources when they are available and dont sweat the small stuff. don't get caught

up in i have to be the best game because buffs will sell no matter what the power and its not that hard to make a buff that will give

you a 2000 plust stat with bivoli and most peeps are very happy with anything over 2000.

Unless you have collected the quality resources required to make them, I would say save yourself the trouble and just buy them. You really don't want to use mediocre resources in buff packs, you want to try and use the best resources possible in them. Now if you've saved up the resources it would be better to make your own because it will be MUCH cheaper for you than buying them from someone else.

I was wondering what type of power buffs I could possibly make as only a 10pt doctor, or the increase I would get if I bought the crafting apron?

I would love to make them myself but there is a resourceshortage, I got 2 sets from a mate so I ca, get along.

Problem is that I didn't encounter to many vendors that sell buffpacks or resources.

This sucks

yeah if a lot of people depended on one vendor, the whole community is screwed, hehe.
