So I finally got around to making some new buffs and here is what I ended up with:

Buffs hit for 2190 2hours 54minutes with +25 bio clothes, and 110 droid. (no other bonuses)

I had the Avian meat saved up from a few months back but every other resource I used was stuff I harvested in the last few weeks.

Are these buffs good ? I dont know how to compare them as these are only the 2nd set of buffs I ever made but are quite a bit better than the first run.

post your stats of your buffs and componets and maybe more docs can help

you should be able to get 10-12k for a set of these buffs. They arent going to warrant top price if someone's buffing better but they'll pay for themselves =) The magic number for buffs is 2000....as long as you're over 2k on all buffs people will pay for them.

I had really good resources (I think)for most of my stuff but the herbivore meat was not that great (like 600s for OQ/PE). I dont have any bivoli right now but I may go look into that. I dontusually sell my buffs though. (mainly for guild/friends use) I harvest all the materials myself so my cost on them is very low as well.(probably not much more than 150cr per stat)

With good bivloi (+24ish) you should be able to turn that 2190 into 2350 or so, so they are not bad buffs really. The absolute top end I've seen for buffs (and someone may well have seen better) is 2600ish for 3hrs 30mins. These figures should be your ultimate targets, but don't worry yourself too much if you don't reach them as although there is room for improvement, the buffs you are making are perfectly marketable.

Boy I remember when anything over 1500 was a good buff.

If your buffs are over 2k people will buy them. I have had customers ask for longer duration than higher stats simply because they don't want to come back in 3 hrs.

Here are some key question:

Are you crafting in a player city that is also a Research Facility?

Are you using med crafting clothes?

Are you using Janta Blood instread of BECs?

Janta Blood will get you the "Uber" buff packs, but the key is using High Quality resources.

Not in a research facility unfortunately...

Dont have any med crafting clothes.. do they even do any good if I dont get a full 10 or 20 points worth? Based on what I saw extra exp points wouldnt have helped me anways as I ran out of boxes to fill right when I used my last point.

Did not use Janta Blood.. Ive killed thousands of them and only ever had maybe 10 random bloods drop..

I had pretty high quality materials for nearly every part.. the only real "bad" quality resource I had was the Herbivore Meat which was in the 600oq 600pe range (between 600 and 650 they where)

Yeah, since action requires different resouces for the final combine Ive seen that also, I always use the same Avian meat etc for action as I do for the rest. The main reason I made this new run of buffs (25 item crates 21 charges each) was because my last set did have differing durations and stats on some buffs due to the way I did the experimenting. (that and the stats on the buffpacks kept shifting around and making a real mess out of the resulting buff/timer)

one more thing to watch out for, is some people use diferent/cheeper resourses for the action packs to save money, DON'T DO THAT. hunters hate it (speaking as one who has mastered 6 combat profesions as well as Doctor) when the Action gives out 30 minutes before the others and you get killed off action hits or when the Action lasts 30 minutes longer then the others, makeing it so you can't get a new buff set unless you can find somone with powerfull enough buffs.

Uh,

Not really, to my experience as long as you keep the duration of the actionpacks near the other stats, people actually prefer that way. (Specially since you can give them a higher power in Action).

I have 877 power packs with 3 hours duration, and my Action packs are 920 power with a 10 seconds difference between then and all the other stats.

High quality avian meat is too rare as a resource to spend like that, specially if you can play around with your resources trying to make almost a perfect match. If the Devs allowed us to use organics and inorganics, then, heck, do so!

It can be very challenging actually.

Nothing worth doing is completed in our lifetime,
Therefore, we are saved by hope.
Nothing true or beautiful or good makes complete sense in any immediate context of history;
Therefore, we are saved by faith.
Nothing we do, however virtuous, can be accomplished alone.
Therefore, we are saved by love.
No virtuous act is quite a virtuous from the standpoint of our friend or foe as from our own;
Therefore, we are saved by the final form of love which is forgiveness.

Yes, but most people don't do that. they just stick what the have into action and give no effort to makeing the times match. I guess what I was trying to say is they need to be even. not running out too late or too early.
