First off, I'm not a Doc, so please excuse the possible noobishness of my questions. What exactly does a 175 resist enhancement mean? I read a few other posts and someone posted that they did trials against CM poisons and diseases and found that poison was resisted 5 times and disease 11 times. The resist poison stat was higher (213) than the resist disease stat (175) and, like many things in SWG, this did not make sense to me. Is it just something to do with a random check done in the system to see if you get the disease or poison? If so is there some sort of algorithim to figure out what your chances are for actually resisting the disease?
Also, every everyone is touting these as anti-CM meds, but has anyone done any trials on creatures? I was wondering if I took a Doc with me to beat on some Giant Dune Kimos, if it was worthwhile to get these resist buffs when fighting them or if the old cure disease packs were a better way to go. Thanks for your consideration...
