Ok, now I've been a master dr for so long i remember dido and vedo. that was about my birth.

Well I crafted my own buffs during the era of random buffs, tipped back for everything under 1k, yadda yadda yadda.

I havent buffed publicly since before the static buff patch, about a month before that, I buff for fun and for people who are my friends. I have a few people who remember me because i would actually interact with my line and talk to them while i buffed, sometimes they would give me free avian and what not. It was a loyal customer base.

Well i have a customer who gets ahold of me out of the blue, at first i thought they were a guildie coz i recognized the name. They asked if i could spare 1k of grinding meat for their Bio E. grind, i said not a problem, then proceeded to talk to them and found out they werent a part of my guild, but were actually an old customer. I asked them how much meat they needed and I came up with the 10k they actually wanted and handed it to them for free. granted it was NOT grinding meat, but i dont really have low quality resources on hand.

Just nice to know that some of the nice players who I used to buff remember me from time ta time. Have random people ask me to buff them, i ask how they know im a dr and they say 'I remember you from coronet...dath....dant....' etc.

just think its kool, and not everyone out there is a jerk.

Hey,

Neat story, I'm working my way up to master doctor and at the moment i'm a master medic working novice doctor.....I became a doc for one reason.....I'm a people person and i enjoy helping those in need. When i was in tk i always needed buffs from docs....later i realized how generous they were to spend their time to buff/heal me. In my opinion...docs are the base for any fighting proff because they buff which enables those who might not have the most skill to fight, or to heal those newbies who need a bit of help. thats my views on docs, now here is the story....

Loyal Customers

One day i was in a buff center a bh walked my way and i was a novice medic, he needed to be healed.....what i was amazed about that he choosed me over some other master doc. It took a bit but i did the job, and i recieved a tip. Ever since i healed him i've been his personal doc..he will give me resources for free. It shows how loyal a customer can be. I asked him one day why he keeps coming to me and he said this

"When i come to you for a heal, my money is paying gubbie , to be healed by gubbie. I'm paying for the polite service and character"

This story shows how loyal some customers are...

koo, i wish that what it is now was like it was then. So much has changed, i believe it is coz of the influx of dr's trying to make a quick buck. If only they knew all they have to do is master a combat prof, get buff and u could make more money that way. I remember a time in coronet when if there was 1 dr buffing, I would wait till they were done, or ask for permission if i could buff beside them... and There wasnt always a full line in front of you either. Now buffs are so common place it TAKES 5 dr's in coronet to keep up with the demand.... ahhh the good ole days when a dr could make house calls....

I have a few loyal customers that still hit me up for buffs if they see im around. I stopped buffing publicly when bivoli was starting to be required. 2k was an awesome buff set back in the day. if every buff in ur set could hit over 2k, u were an awesome dr.... now even my close friends would rather pay 15k for 2.4 buffs instead of taking my 2-2.3 buffs free. funny how that works.

Ah well, doubt things will go back, just wishful thinkin

What worries me is, like it or not buffs push millions into the bria economy but what i'm worried about is if the devs nerf buffs it could affect us so bad......

1. The Doctor proffesion would collapse.

2. Billions of Credits would drain creating bad markets leaving those with even less pocket change.

3. In my opinion the doc proffesion is the base of all fighting proffs for obivous reasons .

5. Thousands of players would be left behind, some can't even imagine all the buff money that floats on bria and how it will impact doctors and our customers.
