Thread: why the greifing?

i have been a master doc for many months now and i love it. my buff policy has always been, "buffing ____ for ___ hours PAY / TIP WHAT YOU WANT" as a doc i feel its a service to buff and let people enjoy the highend game. ya sometimes i get 1 or 2k from a newbie whose just starting out, but most times people will pay 15k+ because they know they can make that back in 5 mins running solo missions. either way i always break even and i have a good sized customer base. i dont mind sitting in coronet and buffing for fun. sometimes it beats the daily xp grind. but lately ive been getting harassed by players and even other docs 
just this morning i had one doc spam me asking why i wouldnt duel him. i had a line and im not much for PvP. but he persisted to harass me and sit his pets on me. not more than 10 mins later a fellow master doc from the same guild as the doc i was being harassed by parked right in front of me and offered higher power buffs using the same "pay what you think is fair" policy i have always used. so my line emptyed out to him and i just logged out. why is it lately there is so much greifing and so many angry children so bent on ruining the game for so many people. maybe all the kiddies are mad they have to go back to school 
either way this is becoming more and more of a common thing and it just makes me wanna avoid the sideof my professioni enjoy so much.

You know, things have been just a bit "ruder" than normal lately. I hadn't thought to atribute it to summer hollidays though.

Bria is a cesspool of immature, rude children (not necessarily little kids, either, we have a lot of Immature adults).

I have been having trouble with people in buff lines...
but it doesnt seem to be as bad as all that. BEcause of limited backpack space, with me carrying so much stuff to cure people when im out, i dont carry that many buff packs but leave them at home. So i used to sit down with say 50 buffs and just do them. But when i got to the end of these, i would start saying about 10 buffs before the end, dont bother waiting after "so-and-so" in the line, you wont get buffed. I repeat this time and time again...but do they listen - NO!!!
So in the end i had to just up and leave amongst angry tell-hell claiming i was being a **edit**.... even offering about 50k for a buff... but if i dont have buff poacks i cant buff them...
They would then start on the getting their whole guild to bother me...

nerf summer holiday's
give em 2 weeks holiday only
and we only have to put up with it for 14day's we can manage that 
alltho i must say i have met players who are 11 years and clearly are more mature then some payers who are 30years

Just /ignore them forever..time to start putting the blanket of silence and denying any services to the jackasses in the game. If they are so unhappy that they need to ruin it for everyone else.../report, /ignore and pay someone else to duel and kill them....free buffsto the person who triple incaps the jackasses is my policy....

Given the state of the game, i'd say alot of people dont have their happy faces on while playing.

Ah more of this, and yes I think it might have to do with the majority of players being off school. HOPEFULLY it'll calm down in September once everyone is off to school and has to go to bed early.
I too have been bugged by other doctors just because I have been asked to buff someone in a populated area and I go ahead to do it and eventually gain a 10 person line as another doctor arrives and accues me of "stealing his business" then pesters us with pets and guildmate PVPs.

These types of people actually make me laugh. They can grief me as much as they want, and tell me, 'I was in beta beech! Buff me now!', but when it comes down to it, they are throwing around insults and doing things to a couple hundred pixels on a computer screen, and the funny thing is, they probably actually feel a lot cooler in their real lives.
So, I say, let the griefing continue. If it gives that huge loser out there something to be happy about, in between all of hisbeatings and name calling and crying in real life,then who are we to take that away from him.
