Im a Master Doctor, Novice pistoleer and was wondering if theres a good kind of armor that may be suited towards doctorsor if doctors should just never wear armor. If it is viable to wear armor which kind makes the most sense?

Composite Armor + Buffs. This is all you will need if you're a Pistoleer/Master Doc.

Unless of course you grind about 30k of Faction Points and grab some sexy Marine/ST armor. 40% resists unsliced?! Mmmmmmm...

Very interresting post. As a CH/doctor I was thinking of a set of padded or ubese. A little less restrictive then composite but still some nice resists. I'll let ou know when I have it, what do you think?

Hiya all,

Personally I am a doc/pistoleer and I use most of a suit of ST armor (legs/arms/bracers) and a personal shield. Unsliced armor of 30% resist (without shield) and relatively low mind encumberence. You can buff away pretty much all the negative effects and the HAM regens to health and action I can heal so I have found it to not be a problem. I only equip the chest boots etc when I'm expecting to get thwacked around alot in a big hunt.

The only downside to this solution is if you get killed and your not near a faction recruiter you can't reset your faction to overt and thus can't wear the armor 8(.
