Also means that if you critical fail on a component, it'll mess the whole thing up.

I have found a pretty fast way to get xp using macros. I use the regular grind macro:

/ui action toolbarSlot00;

/selectDraftSchematic 000;

/pause 5;

/nextCraftingStage;

/NextCraftingStage;

/createPrototype;

/createPrototype;

BUT Ihave5 of them. 1 for BEC (use it twice in the sequence), 2 CRDM and 2 for SDS. I then use2 more macros (6&7)with just the first 2 commands (/ui /select) and create woundpack B's with the components I jsut made and 5 "enters" to make it with practice.

Advantages:

  • No items in the inventory to delete. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Using Practice on the biggestxp item of the batch without having to use the time consuming partial macro EVERY time. (my hand & wrists werestarting to cramp)

  • Using the auto build macro 6 times out of 8 items (BEC is repeated twice, same macro and tool)

  • and get a total of ~420 crafting exp every 3 to 4 minutes or so. 6200-8400 xp an hour. (EXTREMELY rough guess, have not clocked myself yet.)

  • And if you set the 2 partial wound pack macros up for both health and action, you can always get a spare UNexperimented woundpack in 2 minutes. (just dont practice on it)

Disadvantage:

  • You do need a decent supply of all the minerals required to build a woundpack: chemical metal and oraganics.

Lok always has wheat.
Tatooine always has fiberplast.

Harvest a bunch of both and crank out advanced BECs. It's 500 crafting experience per minute if you can do one every 10 seconds, which isn't that hard. Even the final block in doctor crafting will be done in an hour.
