I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not, but could they please make /healstate <state> auto-select a state to heal. it's pretty much useless if you have to type the command out... i know you could make macro's, but why have the /healstat button if it doesn't auto select?

also, maybe an icon in your abilities for /dragincapacitated player? thanks.

Both of those items are on the Big List of Doc Issues. It's possible the State pack one isn't on the list that is stickied at the top of this forum right now, but it's definitely something I have on my current list which I will be putting up after we get the response from the Doctor Dev to our initial Top 5 list.

My two bits on this. . . well you can hotkey specific state packs, or even hotkey each state. That is, create a macro with /healstate stunned for example and put it up in the hotkey bar. Having it auto-select a state seems, perhaps, I dunno, too easy maybe?

Just make a macro that has them all in it..../healstate stun; /healstate Intimidation; ... and so on

why wouldn't it behave just like /healwound? you could do all you mentioned for wound packs, but who wants to have a macro key setup for each wound type and each state type? why add the ability icon for /healstate if it's not going to function?

fyi: i have macro's made now for the certain states, but i would much rather have one button that auto selected, since i would want to heal all stats instead of just one...

any idea when we are supposed to get a response from the Dr. Dev!??!

Also on /healstate (and other meds) .. (and this is on the list as well) ... it should search containers within inventory for the meds. =D

Since the devs seem to be so interested in putting in a "pistol twirl" animation and holstering of pistols for Pistoleers, why don't we (as doctors and as medics) request that there be a proper drag incapped player animation? Sure, now we can see them slowly float across the ground toward us, but i'd personally rathersee my character pick up the target and carry him to safety.

Sure, it would decrease the effective range to 0, and it would take more time to execute than the current drag incap player command. But it would make for a much more immersive experience.

To address concerns about deathblowing, all that need be done is have the character be immune to deathblow once they're in the care of the doctor. This preserves the drag incap command's usage as a prevention against deathblow. In fact, it makes it more reliable as you KNOW that once you get to the body, the mob can't kill them. As it is, the doctor has to run arounddraggingthe incapped playerbehind him until the player's mind can regenerate or the mobs lose interest, whichever happens first.

As for the animation itself, it'd be nice to walk up to the incapped player, kneel, grab hold of an arm and put it around your shoulder, left the player off the ground, and move off with the player's feet dragging. It would put the medic in more danger, however, as it would be possible for the mobs to agro the medic, because the medic would be reduced to a walking speed. That's what being a medic in combat is about, though. Risking your own life in the hopes of saving another.

It's all just icing on the cake, as it were. But if pistoleers can have pistol twirling, why can't we have something like this?
