Made Master Doctor last week and have been trying to get the 125k for Combat med. Anyway about 3 days ago I had 80k towards the 125k and today I still have 80k :-(

I have been healing both wounds and damage like crazy on all people. I have been buffing more than I care to think about and rezzing like a fool not to menion the firstaid and poison cures and such. Can anyone suggest what could be happening please?

Umm...80k is something of a gated limit for Max XP. That being said, however, I can't think of a single skill box in CM that requires even 80k to complete. What do you need 125k for?

There is an 80k medical XP cap as Zarlor pointed out, and you don't receive any medical xp until you are trained in a skill that uses the medical XP. So my suggestion is to go get trained in some Combat Medic skills, then train every time you acquire enough for the next skill level. I've noticed with a recent patch that you no longer get an on-screen notification of receiving any XP once you've reached the maximum for that particular XP.

Are you using range stims to heal people? Med xp and Combat Med xp are 2 separate things

Um, I think you have a decimal point misplaced.

You think you need 125,000XP for Novice Combat Medic?

You only need 12,500 XP for it... Go try training it. I bet the trainer will give it to you.

Was this a recent change with medical and combat medical XP? I have never seen a differentation between the medical XP given when healing using ranged stims.

I did think it was 125k. Glad I posted this question though because I had no clue on the 80k cap. That is very good to know thank you.

Yeah, Snooze, Med XP is Med XP. Maybe you are thinking Med Usage as compared to CM Usage skills or Med Crafting as compared to Combat Med Crafting XP. I get the same XP no matter if I use an Enhance Pack or throw a Poison. It's all good for the the 3 non-crafting lines in any of the Med trees.
