Thread: Enhance D effects seem pretty varied

Anyone else having trouble with the highly random nature of Enhance D packs? I have been getting anywhere from 550-2k per stat and it seems like a pretty big margin. Has there been any talk about tightening it up a bit or the ability to de-enhance someone after a crappy buff? Could it be the construction of the pack, something I am missing?

Also, has anyone else noticed that no ones seems aware of just how well a Doctor can buff a player? 6 stat bonuses, over an hour duration, no comedown effect and I can still hardly ever sell them for 2k per person (a price I would happily pay when spice goes for almost 1k per dose).

Sorry, classic case of posting before I read through the board. I see that this very question is already part of our correspondants list Ignore the first part and concentrate on the second....

Yup - the margin is pretty large. I don't think there's anything you can really do about it - it's just very random.

As far as selling them goes, people are starting to come around. Sometimes, I'll go yelling about my buffs through a popuated area and I still get tells asking me what the heck a buff is. Some people just don't know. But, more and more, people are beginning to realize how nice buffs can be.

I was shouting about them last night and applying health and action d's and secondary c's for 3k (for all 6) and I had little trouble selling them.

On a funny side note, one of the docs that was hanging out in the med center with me buffed himself up thoroughly. He then invited some master brawler or some such to duel him. The doc dropped him ina few minutes. When the brawler got up, he was asking, "Why didn't I even touch your HAMS? I'm not that bad." I couldn't help but laugh at him. "Look at those HAMS a little closer, son." I told him. Then, once he noticed that the doc he was fighting had over 2500 health, it was he that was laughing. Oh yeah, and he bought a full application of buffs after that, too.

The best part was that I walked over to the cantina a few minutes later and there was the same doctor teaching someone else abotu the power of buffs in the same way. I tell you - it's not a bad marketing strategy.

you are undercharging.

1k per stat. I have regular customers who come to me now for enhancements after learning the value of them. Good teaching method, I like that.

I've just started to make and use enhancement packs myself. What I did was automatically buff players with A and B level packs as part of their med center treatment. After about a week I began to get requests for paid buffs using my C level ones.

I do 1k each, orall 6 for 5k. I've now got people willing to pay my travel to buff them on the advacned planets.

The range sucks, 700-2.6k for me. I couldn't believe the 2.6k one that was pretty sweet.
