Thread: negative wounds shown in /diagnose....
By healing these negative wounds you are actually causing damage as the upper limit of the stat is being lowered by that ammount.
So if the same guy who has -145 strength wounds has a 500 strength value when fully healed and you heal that -145 wound, his max strength is now 355. Until he clones.
With decay implemented this could be a costly error and , IMO, ranks right up there with buffing without permission on the "things doctors shouldn't do" list. ( how do you know he hasn't paged his doctor with the best buffs ever made to come and buff him? you just wasted either his credits and condition, or the doctors time )
From the recieving end your screen flashes red when these wounds are healed so you are aware of the injury. If you run into this let buddy sit in a hospital for a bit, first heal tick will correct his stats.
Yeah, it's definitely armor that crates the negative wounds... buff wears off and it gives you negative wounds to compensate (so your secondary stat stays at +1). I did not know that this causes an issue if you attempt to heal these wounds. Thanks for the info.
I wear no armor but today when I cleared a control base of Rebels. My buff to action 235 (yes my buffs sucks still
) when it wore off itdid 235 wounds points to my Quickness bar.
I do not wear armor.
There has to be some other condition that is causing this to happen, something during combat I think.
If you do a /healw and let the system pick what stat to heal on someone with negative stats it doesn't even attempt to heal them. I think the negative bug is only if you click on a wound pack ofdo /healw strengthandspecify the secondary stat thats negative.
