Thread: How Long Can a Corpse Be Reviveable?
yup yup. i flew from dant to tat to revive my friend armorsmith cause he had a bunch of shields on him and didnt want them decayed, but didnt work. said corpse has been dead too long.
i guess it kind of makes sense, but i'm not sure what the time interval is.

Actually we have never been given anyoffical word on this. We don't know if the timer is even supposed to be in place. If it is supposed to be in place we have not been told how long it is supposed to be.
Unfrotunately thre are some inconsistencies and I get a lot of reports of people giving varying times. Some folks, as above, say 5 minutes. Others have said they got the message after only a few seconds. Others could Res for up to 10 minutes, and still other say they didn't get the message even after taking 30 minutes to get to someone.
So the real answer is, we just don't know. ![]()
I think they intended for the timer to be 5 minutes, but I have been able to sneak in a res on someone corpsed for a little longer.
But my basic rule is now that I won't come running unless I can get there in a couple minutes.
I need to test this theory out, but with my rezzes it seems if they are grouped with me prior to death, I have a bit longer to get to them than the 5 minutes, once even up to fifteen minutes.
If they are not grouped with me before death (anyone else find it funny they can group with a corpse?) and group after death, it's usually three to five minutes.
If they only consent me, then it could be as short as 30 seconds to as long as4 minutes.
Has anyone attempted to try the combinations of being grouped vs. not being grouped?

This is one reason I haven't yet added this to the FAQ. We've never been given a definitive answer and I'd rather not knowingly put incorrect information into the FAQ.
