I'm a Doctor and I need help to see how everyone is dealing with Herb Meat... Without this vital resource, we can not make adv crd's which helps to make better stims. However on my server (Radiant) herb meat is going for anywhere from 20-40 cpu a unit. With these prices, I would have to raise my crates of stims by a lot. How is everyone else dealing with this? I almost not want to use adv crds in my stims so I can keep the prices low. Looking for other peoples opinions.

P.s. Sometimes I trade stims to my guild mates in exchange for herb meat. Allows me to get the meat and then to save some cash. You could try that. Or maybe, find a group of new doctors and go hunting together and share the meat you get, faster and larger animals give more meat, and you all could harvest if you have the skill.

I check SWGCraft.com and watch for good Herb (and avian) meat to pop on my server. Then I plead with my guild to get a big hunting party up and help me grab as much meat as they can tolerate hunting. I will also hunt it solo if possible. I do have basic scout skills so am able to harvest. So, for this method, you will need a supportive guild or at least a regular group of friends.

I have CH and Smuggler friends that know I need herbivore and avian meat. They sell it to me for 4cpu and I give them free buffs when they go hunting for it. Most hunting trips last a couple of hours and can net about 2K of meat. So for the cost of 8K and a set of buffs I get all the meat I need. Plus if I'm desperate there are a couple Master Rangers on our server that teamed up to collect meat. They usually charge 15cpu, but since I was on Lok with them, they only charged me 12cpu (still high, but I needed it for buffs). It's quite a bit, but I can get almost any quantity I want (they said they can fill a 20K order within a couple days). It is a pain that most servers have someone selling medical resources, and they charge so much for it. They will also complain about high price of stims and buffs. However, my advice is to raise your prices on stims and offer discounts to people with herbivore meat, and make friends with CH's and Rangers. This has worked for me.

I've got a Master Ranger that I just kind of stumbled across... I contract him out to get meat for me when I need it.

Neither of us are in Guilds... so it's a great relationship for us.

I paid him 200K for 20K good quality Herb meat yesterday. Plus I give him free buffs whenever he needs it.

Half the time i say screw it and dont even put advanced chem release mechinisms in my stims, its too hard to get that large of amounts of it

Well if you are wholely devoted to your Doctor profession and don't hunt/harvest on your own. Find a guild that supports the crafting professions. For example our guild supplies resources to doctors and artisans for free as long as you contribute to the guild! We always have a good supply (normaly over 60k of most resources) and using the multiple miners we have good leads on the good quality stuff!

Use everything great in your stims, but Adv Chem Rel. These only add an extra 5-10% to your stim power. Try selling them with out using Adv Chem Rel...then price accordingly.

When I use Adv Chem Rel, I add 25k to the price of a crate (cost me 21k to make the crate of Adv Chem Rel in the first place). I put both types of stims up: Stim B's power 380 and Stim B's power 398...with 25k added to price. The power 380 sell MUCH better

I sell my stim b's which power of 440ish for 75k if they only reach 350ish I sell them for 50k a crate.

Hey Axpkai..if you find an answer let me know please. I am a master doctor/master pistoleer..that leaves me a whoopin 4 skill pts. I am on the Scylla server and have been trying to contract out for meat for more than a month. I left messages on the Scylla board, send tells to every ranger/scout that i see in game, and even contacted the AR ranger guild on my server. I had one master ranger tell me he would get me what i needed but then never came through. If anyone knows anyone on the Scylla server that would be interested in getting me 10-20k of herbivore, avian, and any good quality meat..PLEASE let me know, i am starting to get very frustrated. At this point im willing to pay ridiculous prices!

I hit 379/32 Stim B's recently without ACRDMs. The 4 crates I made of it sold relatively fast. And not a single unit fo herb meat used. I feel your pain, though. I just had to buy a stack of herb meat at 20cpu for my buff packs.

I currently hold scouting skills along with TKA and Master Doctor. After finishing off a Piket Lair, you end up with 500 units of herb meat. The quality isnot bad but scouting for hunting and artisan for the surveying angles are necessary evils unless you want to pay for the resources. I have a hard time paying 10cpu for nice resources, so I hunt.

I can't survey, but myguild mates point me toabout 75% of the stuff I need. I buy the rest.

I just hunt for my own. Eopies are a good source of herb meat and they're easy to take down if you don't have much in the way of a gun.
