Doctor Archive

I was in game lastnight and was killing some Wrixes (wrixs?). Apparently a Mottled Wrix got it's claws in me and I was Diseased. I could not find a doctor to cure it and I need to go grocery shopping with the little lady, so I logged out (roughly 7pm central). When I log back in at 7:30am central... still diseased and half my health has black rot.

So, the question is, how long does this last? Will it go away on it's own?

Those creature diseases will go away on their own. They last about an hour or so ticking for between 1-3 damage every 20-40 seconds (I keep forgetting to time them.) In effect they are a HUGE nuisance but that's about it. They do go away.

Also it appears taht logging off stops the timer, so they last for a full hour of actual logged in time. (Well logged in time and Link-Dead-but-Character-Still-In-The-World Time.)

Exactly what I needed, Zarlor! You are a credit to your profession and an example for ALL correspondants. You should have a little "organization" chat with some of the others!
