OK, quick question - my +25/+25 hat reached zero condition last night after I died. I was not looking foward to going back to my house on another planet just to pick up another hat. So, I just decided to live with the lower-power buffs without the hat. However, I still equipped it just in case.

Much to my surprise, my ~923 buffs reached the same 2570-2590 strength as before. Is this the way it should happen? Can the hat be worn and still be effective? Or has it never been working and I have been buffing without the +25/+25 enhancement all along?

Conventional wisdom says that condition doesn't matter, at lest not right now. An upcoming fix may change that, so enjoy it while you can.
