I mastered doctor yesterday, alot of you seem to want to keep your master doctor tag up, but not get annoyed by people asking for buffs. Here is my solution: I carry around a set of enhance pack a's which I use on people who pester me when I have my master doctor tag up. The dialogue usually goes like so;
Guy: hey u buffin????
Me: ya, tip what you feel its worth
Guy tips you 10000 credits
You enhance Guy's Health for 253 points
Guy: GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK THIS IS BULLSH*T!!
You enhance Guy's Strength for 254 points
Guy: (insert more random ranting)
It's great, AND it in no way is a scam, sure MOST doctors have 2500+ with bivoli etc. But, a 250+ enhance is still an enhance and he did not ask for the stats. I actually fend off mobs in theed with these super noob buffs when I buff my friends there, its very fun.

Yes, it's very funfor you but the negative repercussions that result from this will affect not just you. It's not an illegal scam but it's definitely something that will give the doc-abusers out there more ammunition to pummel us with.
It may be annoying, but no matter how much you think they "deserve it" forpestering you, acting like them only makes you nobetter than them.

Or just say no. Being an ass for no reason isn't really something to be proud of.

This is a fun way to handle the problem, but you'll just get more griefing from these people - and some of them may not really be bad people.

That wont really work, when you say "tip what you feel they are worth" most people turn that into "free buffs over here!" and wont pay you anything at least even till youre done buffing them. so soon as you hit your first 250 pt buff, they will leave and you wont get anything.
Anyone that tips a doctor beforehand without knowing how strong thier buffs are, deserves it then.

Pathetic!
Not funny at all. Why would you screw someone just cause they asked for a buff?
I usually say 'sorry but I'm not buffing at the moment'
95% time I get a thank you or np.

If it's really hard to say, sorry I'm not buffing right now, then maybe you should leave your MD tag down. Given, tell hell can get pretty bad but resorting to tricking them into crap buffs just isn't a very constructive solution IMO.

I like that idea for people who only do /tells. But I don't mind a player who walks up and asks politely if I am buffing or not. I leave my tag up all the time. I don't get pummel'd with /tells. But I also don't hang out at star ports of major cities. If a person can RP a /tell. I would actually fly out to someone to give buffs. but if they just send a plain ole /tell then I just ignore it and go on about my business. usually if thye don't get a response they leave it as a No. Rarely do I get someone who constantly sends /tells. And those are who get put on the ole ignore list. But I like that A idea

yeah, how dare this guy ask for a buff from a master doctor? he deserves to loose 10k just for thinking it!
you put the as in master doctor... yeah I know there should be another 's' at the end of 'as' but if you say it without spelling it, it works.
you say it's not a scam but the same goes for you spamming buffs for 10k and not buffing when a guy offers you 10k of grinding steel. Unless you put 10k credits in your spam he is justified in getting buffs for 10k steel.
it amazing how creative people get to proove they are an as (again it deserves another 's' but it will jsut get edited).

I would do buffs for 10k steel. shoot even grinding steel, that is still at least 20k credits. I have done buffs for a bantha statue. All because someone knew how to RP and actually barter'd with me. since it was the first, I settl'd for a bantha statue. It's all about bartering. If someone wanted to trade me services that is fine. I trade resources for resources. Buff for clothes. Healing for whatever. Just gotta know how to barter. Credits are ok, but I would rather barter and have something than always say I have credits.
